I contacted Dependable Automotive Service because my college-aged son was experiencing some trouble on his trip home. Brad answered the phone with a professional yet friendly voice and was confirmed he was available and willing to check the car out for my son who was about an hour from the shop. Upon arrival the car had apparently healed itself but Brad gave it a look over anyway and offered my son some advice on what the problem could have been and what to do if it continues to happen. Brad was a refreshing breath of fresh air in a world filled with people who are not always helpful. Highly recommend based on character alone.

Last month I was driving across the country on a tight schedule, and one of my headlights went out. I wasn't in my own car, and I know that replacing a bulb in newer cars can be a major ordeal, getting access to the thing. I was concerned I'd have to go way out of my way to get it fixed, but I was referred to Dependable by a local man, and WOW, it was fixed quickly, and at more than a fair price. Great service, friendly, competent, and genuinely wanting to help. I recommend Dependable. What a God-send!

So kind and helpful. We had a flat on our horse trailer (with horses) and then our spare had a leaky valve stem! They fixed the valve stem, helped us change the tire with an impact wrench. Even treats for the dog! Got us on the road in no time!

We recently returned to Denver from a SW and NW trip that started Oct 23, 2024. Just days, after we had started our trip our 2015 Prius experienced an intermittent overheating warning light. We stopped at Dependable Automotive Service without an appointment and the very personable service tech manager very quickly took our car, plugged it into his diagnostic scanner, then put the car up on the rack. He revealed to me the likely issues including the emission system that could be the culprit. This was not a simple radiator or hose leak. He pointed out 5 possible problems. Due to the complexity of the issue and the fact that he would have to order parts not available nearby he indicated that for him to work on the issue it would likely take a week to repair. We were on a tight schedule so this was a problem. After a discussion with the manager he agreed with me that we would likely be okay going onto the Toyota dealership on our route through Flagstaff to get assistance. Well, as it turned out that one of the 5 possible problems was the culprit though it was also, regretfully, the most expensive problem in the catalytic system costing us three grand. But we were fine the rest of the trip well into December. We very much appreciate the Dependable Automotive manager’s professional and expedient help in us getting back on our trip. He revealed a long and strong technical experience and competence that I have often found rare with so many independent auto servicers in my well over 50 years of owning vehicles. Competent and cost-effective are descriptions that I would apply to Dependable Auto Services. A tourist travel crisis was quickly addressed and prioritized. We were extremely thankful quickle extremely thankful for Brad and his crew for the service they provided and recommend them highly period
