Den's Body Shop Collision, located at 262 Apple St, Fayetteville, OH 45118, is listed under the "Auto Repair Stations" category, which suggests it primarily deals with automotive repairs, with a specific emphasis on collision services as indicated by its name. For residents of Fayetteville and the surrounding areas in Ohio, this establishment would theoretically be a resource for bodywork and mechanical repairs needed after vehicle accidents or for general maintenance.
A body shop and collision center like Den's Body Shop Collision would typically occupy a specialized facility. This environment would generally include a dedicated area for frame straightening, panel repair and replacement, and a paint booth for professional finishes. There would also be a section for general mechanical repairs, if those services are indeed offered. The space would need to accommodate damaged vehicles, possibly including a secure lot for storage. A reception area for customers to drop off their vehicles, discuss estimates, and pick up their cars would be standard. Given its address on Apple St in Fayetteville, it would likely be situated in an area that allows for ease of access for local residents, often in a commercial or light industrial zone to accommodate the larger equipment and space required for bodywork.
The provided phone numbers, (513) 875-2652 and +1 513-875-2652, suggest direct lines of communication for potential customers to inquire about services, schedule appointments, or seek updates on repairs. Accessibility via phone is crucial for businesses in the automotive repair sector, especially when dealing with complex or emergency collision repairs.
Based on the name "Den's Body Shop Collision" and its categorization as an "Auto Repair Station," the expected services would primarily be:
- Collision Repair: This is the core service, involving comprehensive repairs to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This includes frame straightening, dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs.
- Auto Body Work: Beyond accident repair, this often extends to addressing cosmetic damage such as minor dents, scratches, and rust removal.
- Professional Painting: A critical component of collision repair, ensuring color matching and a high-quality finish.
- Potentially General Mechanical Repairs: While the primary focus is collision, many "Auto Repair Stations" also handle basic mechanical services like brake repair, as mentioned in one of the customer reviews, or other general maintenance, to provide a more comprehensive service to customers.
However, the customer reviews provided paint a complicated picture regarding the actual services offered and their execution. One review explicitly states, "I called to see about a brake replacement and the woman who answered stated 'You’ll have to go elsewhere, we don’t have any mechanics.'" This suggests that, at the time of that call, the shop may not have been fully equipped or staffed to perform general mechanical repairs, or perhaps even that the business's operational status as a whole is in question regarding all listed services. This directly contradicts the assumption that an "Auto Repair Station" would offer comprehensive services, indicating a potential limitation to primarily bodywork, if any work is being done at all.
The customer reviews for Den's Body Shop Collision present significant and concerning feedback regarding the business's operational status and customer service. The first review states, "I don’t think this is an active business anymore. I called to see about a brake replacement and the woman who answered stated 'You’ll have to go elsewhere, we don’t have any mechanics.'" This immediately raises a red flag regarding the active operation of the business and its capacity to perform general automotive repairs, despite its categorization. It implies a potential lack of staffing or a shift in their service offerings, or even a complete cessation of some services.
The second review is far more critical and detailed, alleging severe issues that directly impact the customer experience and the quality of work. Key points from this negative review include:
- Lack of Communication: "Doesn’t return calls couldn’t even get them to look at my car talked to different person each time had to reach out to them multiple times stil no response it’s always we will call you tomorrow tomorrow never came very unprofessional." This highlights a significant breakdown in customer communication, leading to frustration and perceived unprofessionalism.
- Unauthorized/Unexplained Work and Charges: The reviewer states, "when they finally called out my car in and they put new brakes on turned rotors and never even told me they were doing that charged 400.00." This suggests work was performed and charged for without prior communication or explicit approval, a major breach of trust and professional ethics in auto repair.
- Failure to Address the Actual Problem: Despite the brake work, the core issue remained: "still have to take it somewhere else to fix actual problem I have !!" This indicates a failure to properly diagnose and resolve the customer's initial concern, leading to wasted time and money.
- Lack of Resolution and Customer Dissatisfaction: The reviewer's final sentiment of considering legal action but deciding against it due to cost ("I would contact someone like a lawyer but that would cost me more than it’s worth. Don’t waste your money here") underscores deep dissatisfaction and a feeling of having been wronged.
Based on these reviews, potential customers should exercise extreme caution. The features that typically define a reliable "Auto Repair Station" – clear communication, professional diagnosis, authorized repairs, and effective problem resolution – appear to be significantly lacking according to these accounts. The reviews suggest a business that may be experiencing operational difficulties, leading to poor customer service and questionable repair practices.
Given the strongly negative customer feedback, it is challenging to objectively present any positive promotional information or a clear value proposition for Den's Body Shop Collision based solely on the provided data. Typically, an auto repair station would promote its reliability, expertise, customer service, and competitive pricing. However, the reviews directly contradict these expected qualities. The "Collision" in their name would imply they specialize in accident repair, a critical service for which customers need absolute trust and assurance of quality.
In light of the customer feedback, any promotional efforts by Den's Body Shop Collision would need to address the severe concerns raised, particularly regarding communication, unauthorized work, and actual repair effectiveness. Without specific positive information or official statements from the business to counter these claims, an objective introduction must highlight the reported challenges. For potential users in Fayetteville, OH, seeking automotive repair or collision services, the provided phone numbers ((513) 875-2652 and +1 513-875-2652) would be the first point of contact. However, based on the reviews, prospective customers should be prepared for potential communication difficulties and carefully verify all aspects of service, including proposed repairs and costs, before authorizing any work. The information suggests that due diligence, perhaps including seeking multiple estimates and thoroughly vetting the shop's current operational status and reputation, is particularly important when considering Den's Body Shop Collision.

Never had body work done there, but Tyler runs the maintenance side of the shop (brakes, tires, oil changes, etc) and my experiences with him on three different cars have all been positive. He is my go-to repair man.

I bought the parts for my car, All I needed was company to install them. Called to get a quote on prices, lady who answered the phone was absolutely rude and unwelcoming, acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Will NOT be using them after how they spoke to me.
