Excellent communication and timeliness of repairs. I had a clutch change and corner balancing done on my 240Z. I would recommend others to check out Logan's shop and get some work done!

So if you like yourself some spinning dorito, (Mazda Rotary) then you got 2 choices if you live on the east coast of the US. Defined Autoworks and Angel Auto. Logan is a one man show at defined and he's allways backed up. So dont expect a fast turn around, or cheap, if you want coustom work and expect cheap i suggest another hobby. But he does great work, and he seams to have the highest level of understanding for building proformance rotaries ive come across.

I have had this shop build my cars for the last ten years. I have never had any trouble with their work. My cars always perform as expected. With any high performance car there will be problems, real shops can find and fix them. Defined is a shop that can always fix a problem when they arise. Also Defined races and proves their work on the track, something most shops couldn't honestly tell you they do. This shop is proven and has been around for a long time, not something many competitors can say. Do yourself a favor and let Defined build your car, it will save a lot of headache.

The owner is very honest, hard working and knowledgeable. It is a small specialty shop for rotary engines and other repairs. Be prepared to wait as he is always backlogged. It will be worth the wait.

A couple of years ago I found Logan's shop online and we took my son's RX7 to him to rebuild the rotary engine and install an inter-cooler. We didn't know much about rotaries at the time and based on his reviews, were trusting him to be trustworthy and do a good job. When we picked up the car Logan advised that my son break it in for 1000 miles before having it tuned (his service did not include dyno tuning the car.) Right before he put 1000 miles on it, it developed a serious oil leak, most likely from the rear main seal. Logan's response was to mail us a new seal and to say "good luck". Not long after developing the leak the car starting to become difficult to start. We checked the spark plugs and found that instead of two leading and two trailing plugs all the plugs were trailing (done by Logan.) We have since found a very reputable shop that is very trustworthy with a good track record. When they removed the engine this time they found important parts (pipe for turbo air recirc) and bolts missing. I am not saying that Logan deceived us on purpose. But I question his competence with RX7's and would not engage his services again.
