I just called to make an appointment to have a vehicle inspected. I spoke to Ottavio. SUPER NICE GUY! Made the appointment, he was very professional. Then had a nice casual conversation. I believe I am a great judge of character and I have a solid feeling about Ottavio. I'll update the review after the inspection, but I'm certain I will receive great service. Good people helping good people is what life is all about!

I own a limo company and some personal cars. This company gets us in and out in no time! They know the importance of being back on the road. Their pricing is reasonable. They are concerned and caring and treat my personal car (a corvette) with kid gloves! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Good job, guys!

They have been servicing my 2003 Chevrolet Tracker for over 12 years. During that time Ottavio moved from shop to shop. I followed him because he truly cares about his customers! Recently, Thursday evening, my baby died just as I was parking at a restaurant. I called him and he answered right away. WHO DOES THAT!?!? I told him what happened and I told him that I would give my keys to the restaurant owner inside because he knows me very well. Ottavio told me he would get a tow truck to come over and pick it up from Rolling Meadows and drive it to the shop in Schaumburg within 90 minutes. I called a friend who gave me a ride home. Everything went perfectly. He started working on my baby right away the next day. He found out that I needed a new alternator. He warrantied everything and he was going to charge the alternator vendor for the towing fee. AGAIN WHO DOES THAT!?!? Needless to say I highly no ... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DATTOLO AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!

I made a service appointment through the CarMax website with a shop that was convenient for me. I got a phone call from the shop to move my appointment up 2 weeks which I was actually pleased about. However, everything following was a nightmare. I dropped my car off Friday after work for an 8:30AM appointment on Saturday. I was told that I would get a call from the owner on Saturday regarding the maintenance required and the price. Time passed. No phone call. I called and left a message that was never returned. On Monday morning, after still not receiving a call, I called to see what is going on with my car. He told me he has to replace the battery. I asked what the battery has to do with the other problems I’m experiencing. He said it doesn’t, but he has to change the battery first. I asked why I didn’t get a call on Saturday after being told I was going to and he said that they had to evaluate my car first which they had from 8:30AM-4pm to do. Poor customer service and communication. Monday night, I picked up my car and drove it right to another shop. It’s now 2 weeks later and I’m getting calls, emails, and texts telling me about my upcoming appointment. The appointment that was originally scheduled and I guess never removed from their system after they moved my appointment up. Check your database and mark that you’ve already seen my car and that I didn’t follow through with using your services and cancel the appointment on your end.
