Aweful, rude, and doesn't want to deal with consumer assistance program. Told me it was too much work and he knows I don't have it. Told me I was out of gas and did I even have money for gas? I tried to start my car and all of a sudden it wouldn't start. He said he didn't even look under the hood. So I opened the hood and a connection was undone. So we hooked it up and the car ran fine. So if he didn't even look under the hood how could he telle it was too expensive for me and I was out of gas which I wasn't. Heade me feel like I was incompetent. He wasted my time and he was never going to help. Read his reviews people and go down the street to Vans.

I went to get my Evaporative canister replace. Dave show me in His computer the evaporative canister cost $700 He said He will do the job, labor and parts for $700 I thought that He gets the parts for a discount and auto part supplier for less or hike up the price or whatever. Anyways when He was installing the evaporative canister it look old, way old, so I ask Him why He was putting an old evaporative canister in my car, that old parts have little to no warranty and in 2 years I might have to change it again He said there was no matching comparable part that He looked and found nothing I looked at Him and straight out told Him I will take Him to court if He does not return my $350 deposit and reinstall my evaporative canister. He was so 😠 mad at me and said fine I will return Your money go 💺 seat outside. While I was waiting there, there was a lady sitting next to me and ask me what had happen and I was telling Her about it when He look at me and got very aggressive and told me to leave and come back in an hour that I was not allowed to talk to His customers so I argue why I should I not share my experience. Anyways that was my experience with david. Got my deposit back went to Oreily's autoparts and order the evaporative canister for $599 and got it the next day. That only shows how people like david are profiting from unethical practices when they don't get caught.

Great place for smog check! Simple, very fast, killer price, too. They are very nice and even helped me check my tire that was loosing air when i arrived.

Dal's Auto Repair And Smog is the BEST Smog I ever had. Dal (David) was professional, funny and has great prices. There are not too many smog places that do smog's for the car year of 1999 and below. This was my 1st time but not my last. This is the "Go to" Smog (with the STAR) and repair )Yes he does repairs also) center.
