However, an objective introduction must also address customer feedback, which offers real-world perspectives on the service provided. Several customer reviews present significant concerns regarding Crash Champions Collision Repair Rawlinson. One customer describes it as "by far the worst 'repair shop'" they've visited, accusing the shop of overcharging and lying. This customer specifically cited an issue with a "new OEM part" that appeared to be old and damaged, and a general feeling of being taken advantage of. Another detailed review recounts a highly problematic experience after a car repair. This customer reported that the shop failed to address a known fluid leak, leading to the car smoking and having no coolant two days after pickup, causing significant travel disruptions. The review also mentions a "melted together" small bracket that was supposed to be replaced, resulting in bumper misalignment. Furthermore, the customer stated that the shop reconnected a faulty second battery in their car without informing them, leading to a drained main battery and unexpected starting issues on Christmas Day. The customer expressed extreme frustration with the lack of care from staff when attempting to resolve these issues, stating, "He said we can drop it off and they can look at it next week, but it would be a while before it is fixed because of the 'process'. It should have been fixed correctly the FIRST time!" This customer explicitly states they would not trust going back for a re-fix and intends to contact their insurance to take the vehicle elsewhere. Another review highlighted a scheduling frustration, noting that while estimates are given quickly, appointment scheduling can take two weeks, calling it "a joke" and a "waste of time." This customer also mentioned the place being "hidden behind some creepy area," which negatively influenced their perception.

The company's promotional messaging often emphasizes their "Difference is Trust" philosophy and their commitment to "People First. Always." They promote their comprehensive collision repair services, detailing their repair process from free estimates to final vehicle readiness and a lifetime guarantee. They state they offer manufacturer-certified parts and use waterborne paints. While these are common promotional points for collision repair centers, the provided customer feedback suggests that the actual customer experience does not always align with these stated commitments. No specific current promotional offers or discounts were available in the provided information.

In conclusion, Crash Champions Collision Repair Rawlinson aims to provide a full range of collision repair services, including bodywork, paint, and glass repair, supported by industry certifications and a lifetime guarantee. They operate Monday through Friday during standard business hours. However, numerous severe negative customer reviews highlight significant issues related to repair quality, professionalism, communication, and overall customer satisfaction, including instances of alleged improper part installation, missed diagnoses, and poor follow-up service. Local residents in Rock Hill, SC, considering Crash Champions Collision Repair Rawlinson for their automotive repair needs should carefully consider this contrasting information and perhaps seek additional independent verification or alternative options before making a decision.

Crash Champions Collision Repair Rawlinson Customer Reviews

This is by far the worst "repair shop" I've been to. They rip you and/or insurance copy off to another level. The picture attached is of a "new OEM part". They will walk all over you any chance they can. And will lie straight to your face in a heartbeat. Never will I go back to this place. This is the back story in a nut shell: Upon drop off, we informed them that there was fluid leaking from our car where our car was damaged, and asked them to make sure they checked it out. Two days (on Christmas Day, in fact) after pick up while driving to family for Christmas , my car started smoking. We pulled over to look at it to find NO coolant in my car at all! They failed to look at what we asked them to, and actually I'm fact, they had to have even made the leak worse. They melted together a small bracket that holds my bumper/headlight instead of replacing it. This is causing my bumper to not align correctly and also buldge out. Looks very noticeable and pretty bad. Not the kind of work I expected. Honestly, I wouldn't be quite as made about the bumper thing if there werent all kind of issues after pick up. They also DRAINED my battery. We have a car with two batteries. When I dropped off the vehicle, our second battery was disconnected by us - it doesn't work properly and just pulls power from our main battery, killing the main battery in the process. Christmas Day we went to leave , and our car would not start. They had reconnected the two batteries and could not even be bothered to inform me that they did so! I get it if they had to, but they should have told me instead of me unexpectedly walking out to a dead car on Christmas. Thankfully, it was jumpable. Usually it is not jumpable when it's connected and we have to get an entire new battery. I called to try and get this resolved before leaving any kind of review or even contacting my insurance, and the man could really care less. He said we can drop it off and they can look at it next week, but it would be a while before it is fixed because of the "process". It should have been fixed correctly the FIRST time! We have three small children. I've already had to reschedule our THANKSGIVING/Christmas with extended family in another state because of not having my vehicle, and now because they didn't fix it the FIRST time, we are looking at not being able to go see family again because we can't drive a car that won't hold coolant four states away. Waiting weeks to get it fixed is unacceptable - it should have been fixed the FRIST time! We are supposed to leave Friday to visit family, and it clearly won't be ready by Friday. I'm not sure I even trust going back and getting this re-fixed with them. I am reaching out to my insurance, and I am hoping that we can take my vehicle someplace else.

First, they gave you a day to get an estimate really quick. When calling back to get a day for an appointment, they will tell you it will be in 2 weeks. What a joke! Waist of time for sure. And the place is hidden behind some creepy area, should have know just because of that.

Horrible results with ill fitting aftermarket parts. Car was in the Shop over month, when alerted the car was completed showed up to pick up car, front bumper cover was marked in four different places. When I questioned Conner about the car, he knew there was an issue but still tried to deliver the car. The shop reordered the oem part and repainted the bumper cover. Today when I picked up the car there is damage yet again in the paint. Would only offer $200 off the repair. I will never use this shop again, nor will I recommend them to any of my family and friends. Too bad one of the few shops that accepts USAA Insurance.

I never write reviews. I don't feel like taking my car to crash championships. After reading so many negative reviews, it's no wonder Allstate dropped Crash Champions from their preferred list. I am a long-time customer of Rock Collision and then Service King, but it now looks like a dumpster fire. I missed a small mom-and-pop body shop where a small shop owner did quality work. I'm glad I researched before taking my car to Crash Champions.

We collided with a herd of deer some years ago, and had the damage repaired at Service King (now Crash Champions). Last year, the corner of the hood that they had repaired started bubbling because of underlying rust. I went in today to ask about a warranty repair, and was told "that's rust - we don't warrant for that" even though it rusted because of improper repair techniques. "No problem - I'll just go somewhere else." And I did. I'll not recommend this shop to anyone.
