Combat Collision Introduce

Combat Collision, located at 1029 Ford St, Bridgeport, PA 19405, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, specializing in collision repair and auto bodywork. Accessible via phone at (610) 279-5536 or mobile at +1 610-279-5536, this establishment aims to restore vehicles after accidents. This introduction will provide an objective overview of Combat Collision's typical environment, the range of services it offers, its features, and any general promotional information, with a particular emphasis on insights gleaned from publicly available customer reviews.

The environment at a collision repair center like Combat Collision is typically structured to handle vehicles that have sustained significant damage. This means large bay areas equipped for frame straightening, body panel replacement, and extensive paint work. While specific details about the waiting area or customer amenities are not provided, these facilities usually focus on functionality and the efficient movement of damaged vehicles through the repair process. The environment would include specialized equipment such as alignment racks, digital photo capabilities for damage assessment and insurance claims, mechanical repair tools, and paint booths. A clean and organized shop floor is generally a standard for professional auto body operations. However, customer feedback suggests that the ultimate quality of the work and the ethical approach to repairs are critical considerations when evaluating the environment and practices of a collision center.

Combat Collision, as a dedicated collision repair facility, provides services centered on restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, or as close to it as possible. The core services offered by such a shop typically include: **collision repair**, which encompasses fixing damage resulting from accidents, ranging from minor dents to major structural issues; **body panel replacement**, including bumpers, fenders, hoods, and doors; **paint and refinishing services**, which involve color matching and applying new paint to damaged areas to ensure a seamless finish; and **frame straightening**, using specialized equipment to realign a vehicle's frame to factory specifications, crucial for safety and handling. Other common services would include **glass repair and replacement**, addressing damaged windshields or windows; and potentially **mechanical repairs** if the collision impacted internal components like the radiator, suspension, or other engine parts. Auto body shops also frequently offer **free estimates** for damage assessment, **towing services**, and assistance with **insurance claims**. The online information suggests they have 7 repair bays and 1 paint booth, indicating a capacity for handling multiple concurrent repair jobs.

Several features define the operations of a collision repair shop like Combat Collision. They are equipped with specialized tools and trained technicians for complex bodywork and paint jobs. They often work directly with insurance companies to facilitate claims, aiming to streamline the process for vehicle owners. A key feature for any reputable collision repair shop is its commitment to using high-quality parts (new OEM, aftermarket, or recycled) and proper repair techniques to ensure the vehicle's safety and integrity are restored. However, customer reviews for Combat Collision highlight specific concerns that may represent significant features or aspects of their service. One customer explicitly stated that the shop "cut corners to save money," alleging that "most of the front end trim parts were glued back on instead of replacing them with new" and that "they used old parts that the holder’s broke so they glue them back on." Another review mentioned issues with paint quality, such as "spots were missed or very thin with the paint" and "mirrors have paint runs/clear coat runs on them," indicating potential deficiencies in their refinishing process and attention to detail. The concern about the color match not being "a near perfect match" is also a critical issue in collision repair. These reviews suggest that while the shop offers the typical services of a collision center, the quality of workmanship and the adherence to proper repair standards regarding parts replacement and paint finish may be inconsistent, leading to dissatisfaction for some customers. They also claim the shop might not put "much prep time into them" for plastic pieces, which can impact paint adhesion and finish.

Regarding promotional information, specific, ongoing promotional campaigns for Combat Collision are not widely advertised in the provided public information. Collision repair shops, unlike general mechanics, often rely heavily on referrals from insurance companies and word-of-mouth recommendations, especially after a positive repair experience. However, the negative customer reviews suggest that their reputation might be impacted by practices that prioritize cost-cutting over quality. While it is standard for collision centers to offer free estimates for damage, it's crucial for potential customers to scrutinize these estimates carefully, understand the proposed repair methods, and inquire about the types of parts that will be used (new, aftermarket, or recycled). Given the concerns raised by customers regarding parts replacement and paint quality, any promotional offers or initial estimates from Combat Collision should be thoroughly vetted. Customers are advised to ask for detailed repair plans, clarification on parts sourcing, and inquire about any warranties on repairs. Contacting Combat Collision directly at (610) 279-5536 would be necessary to ascertain any current specials or offers they may have, but it is equally important to balance such information with the experiences shared by previous clients.

Combat Collision Customer Reviews

Had sons car front fixed there a year and a half ago after someone hit him. This month wanted to replace one of the headlights that faded and found most of the front end trim parts were glued back on instead of replacing them with new and the clip holders intact. They used old parts that the holder’s Brock so they glue them back on. Now I have to try snd get stuff apart without breaking parts. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE They cut corners to save money Also hood painted and you can see dimples in paint. Would love to give them a zero star rating

Sent my truck to them to get some of the plastic trim pieces and a set of mirrors painted to match my truck. I was told a couple of days to finish. They called me the next day that it was done. Spots were missed or very thin with the paint. Was also told the color was a near perfect match which is not the case. Allowed them to fix the thin/missed spots. Came back two days later. And the mirrors have paint runs/clear coat runs on them. Some of the plastics don’t look like they really put much prep time into them. Overall not too happy with everything

Don't let the tough exterior fool you, Sergio is a total sweetheart. Plus, he worked around my schedule and got everything done a lot quicker than I expected. The most painless experience I've ever had with a mechanic shop. I won't take my car anywhere else in the future.

There is a reason combat collision has 5 stars and thats because they deserve it! I am so impressed with the work done on my car. The pricing was affordable, they got my car back to me very quickly and the car looks better than ever! They even cleaned the inside of my car so when I got in, it looked and smelled so clean and fresh. I would recommend Combat Collision to anyone! I will definitely be coming back here if I ever need work done again.

Sergio and his guys are awesome. He even took care of small things on my car that I didn’t ask for. Detailed the inside of the car as well, came out looking brand new.
