This was a horror story experience and I would definitely not recommend this company for anything. After some time I just so happen to look at the hood of my car and realized there are paint drippings as well. The work was sloppy. The service was horrible. The “owner” was very rude and had a disgusting attitude. The manager at the Shelby store although seemed nice still lacks in some professionalism. This experience cost me an early turn in for my lease. I do not recommend this company. Final update: a week later I was sent a picture of a grill sitting in a corner leaning against the wall. This message was sent to me with no context. Nothing was said I was just sent a text of a picture. That was on a Thursday. I never received a call to schedule a time to drop the vehicle off so I waited the weekend out. I called on Monday around 12:30pm. I asked “ was I suppose to bring the car in based off the picture sent or call in to schedule a time frame myself” I was told “yes” but the manager at the Shelby location. So I took it in that day and it took him about 1 1/2 hours to get the grill on. It did upset me that I had to call him just to schedule a time for my vehicle to be repaired when it should’ve been done November of last year. Update: so it took a few weeks for a contact back. I was told they had my part. Had to drive to Shelby township which is about a 35 - 40 minute drive from me. He needed me to drop off the vehicle because it would take about2 hours to complete the job. Once my dad and I dropped off the vehicle I was call 40 minutes or so later being told they had the incorrect part but they don’t think my leasing company would care so it’s my decision if I wanted the correct part. So I picked up my vehicle and requested he’d get the correct part.

Car had some minor damage on the rear door, quarter panel, and bumper. Another shop was booked out so we took it here. They charged a lot more but they could get us in quick and the at fault person was paying. Was quoted for dent and scratch repair + paint. They had the car for 5 days, got it back, the door wasn't even painted and still had the scratches. The paint looked horrendous on the quarter panel edge, and they got the floor mats all dirty. Not the mention the obvious panel gap. After showing them all this, they agreed they messed up and offered to fix it, I give second chances so I trusted them to fix it. They had the car for 3 more days (8 in total now) and the door was now good, but the clear coat around the tail light was sloppy on the edges and they scratched the tail light itself this time. The quarter panel now has about 10 little specs in the paint that aren't very noticable which I was told I was nitpicking about. I sure expected better after 8 days. They made some excuses about how the car was previously painted (it was never painted and they pointed at spots they didn't even work on). But they cleaned the inside of the car this time, cool. I was now frustrated and showed them what was wrong. They offered to fix it again, so I'll give them credit for that. After 2 tries and the work still looks awful, a third time isn't going to help. They blamed it on not having experienced techs. I understand it can be hard, but they shouldn't be doing business if this is what the work looks like. I won't be taking it back a third time and save your time and effort and find a shop who is booked out, this shop got me in right away and it's obvious why, they don't do good work. Only way to make it right is paying another shop the money you recieved for my car, to fix the easy problems you cannot.

Look no further! These people are the best; not only were they the best intermediaries between me and my insurance company, who was trying as hard as they could to total my car, they did great work, and were supportive of me…they mitigated my stress and empathized with my situation. They know how to treat a car AND customer; VERY happy with their services, even though I hope to never need them again!

I was looking for a place to get some non warranty work done and after reading the great reviews on the Collision Guys, I decided to go talk to them. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. I can’t say enough good things about Shawn and Randy! Both are amazing people who provide quality work at a very affordable price. They offered to drive me on errands while my car was in their shop! How many companies are going to do that for you?? You need to go see my friends at the Collision Guys, you’ll be very happy you did. Thanks again guys!!
