City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC Introduce

City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC, located at S285 County Road H, Mondovi, WI 54755, USA, operates within the platform category of **Auto Repair Stations**. They can be contacted at (715) 926-4356 or via mobile at +1 715-926-4356. As an establishment with "Truck & Auto Repair" in its name, this business is positioned to provide services for a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to larger trucks. For local users in Mondovi, WI, and the surrounding areas, City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC would be a potential choice for their vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

When evaluating an auto repair facility, customers typically consider several factors: the professionalism and comfort of the environment, the scope and quality of services offered, any distinguishing features, and promotional information that might attract business. Based on the provided customer reviews, which present a stark contrast in experiences, here's an objective introduction to City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC.

Environment

The **environment** at City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC, from a customer's perspective, appears to elicit mixed reactions. One customer describes the place as "awesome," implying a positive and efficient experience that would reflect a professional and perhaps welcoming operational environment where work is done effectively. This suggests that during their visit, the interaction was smooth and the facility itself facilitated quick service. However, another review paints a very different picture, detailing a significant dissatisfaction with the quality of repair and alleged deceptive practices. While not directly describing the physical shop, the narrative of feeling "burned" and discovering used/faulty parts implies an environment where trust was severely eroded. In an ideal auto repair environment, transparency, clear communication, and integrity in parts and labor are paramount. The contrasting reviews suggest that the actual customer experience within this environment can vary significantly depending on the service performed and the interaction with staff. An "awesome" experience points to a highly functional and professional setting, while the "rip off" experience points to a concerning lack of integrity in the service delivery environment.

Services and Goods for Sale

As an **Auto Repair Station** specializing in "Truck & Auto Repair," City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC is expected to offer a comprehensive range of **services** for various vehicle types. Based on the provided reviews, specific services include:

  • General Vehicle Repair: One customer states "he not only fixed my car," indicating that they perform general automotive repair work on cars.

  • AC Replacement/Repair: A review specifically details an "a/c replacement," indicating their capability to handle climate control system repairs.

  • Future Maintenance Recommendations: One positive review mentions that the mechanic "let me know what I'll need to have done in the future," suggesting a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance planning for customers.

Given their name, it is also highly probable that they offer specialized services for trucks, which might include heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, diesel engine repair, or other services specific to commercial or larger vehicles, though these are not directly confirmed by the provided reviews.

In terms of **goods for sale**, as an Auto Repair Station, they would primarily provide the necessary automotive parts required for the repairs they perform. This means customers would be purchasing parts as part of a service package. The contentious review regarding the AC replacement specifically mentions a compressor that "looked like it had 1000,000 miles on it, all corroded and made in China," and a thermal expansion valve "packed with metal filings." This points to the sale/use of parts, and in this specific instance, raises serious questions about the quality, origin (new vs. used), and lubrication of parts used in a repair. An ethical auto repair station is expected to use new, quality-assured parts unless explicitly agreed upon with the customer for used or refurbished components, and to ensure proper installation and lubrication.

Features

The provided reviews highlight contrasting **features** of City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC:

Positive Features (from one customer's perspective):
  • Professionalism: Described as "Professional," implying a competent and respectable approach to service.

  • Fair Prices: The customer found their prices to be "fair prices," which is a crucial element for customer satisfaction.

  • Speedy Service: The repair and appointment process were described as "speedy," indicating efficiency and minimal waiting time.

  • Proactive Advice: The mechanic "let me know what I'll need to have done in the future," a valuable feature for long-term vehicle maintenance planning and building customer trust.

Negative Features (from another customer's perspective):
  • Alleged Rip-Off/Deceptive Pricing: A significant price increase from the initial quote ($425 to $723) without clear justification is a major negative feature, pointing to a lack of transparency and potential unethical pricing practices.

  • Substandard Parts Usage: The claim that a "used part" (corroded compressor) was installed when a new one was expected, and the presence of "metal filings" and "no lubrication," are severe accusations impacting the integrity and quality of their service.

  • Poor Workmanship/Incomplete Repair: The AC system failing "10,000 miles later" and sounding "not right afterwards" indicates a fundamental issue with the quality of the repair itself, leading to recurring problems.

  • Lack of Accountability: The mechanic's explanation blaming the "fan" when the AC was installed incorrectly, and the subsequent failure of the system, suggests a lack of responsibility for the repair's outcome.

Promotional Information

While no explicit advertising or discount offers are provided, the most impactful **promotional information** for City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC comes from its conflicting customer reviews. One review acts as a strong positive endorsement, suggesting it's an "awesome" place, "professional," with "fair prices, and speedy" service, encouraging others to make it their "new go to spot." This type of testimonial is highly valuable, as it represents genuine customer satisfaction and could attract new business.

However, the extremely negative review serves as a significant counter-promotion, detailing an alleged "Total rip off" due to price discrepancies, the suspected use of "used part," and a complete system failure after a short period. This highly critical feedback, specifically mentioning getting "burned," would severely deter potential customers and prompt them to seek services elsewhere, despite any positive word-of-mouth. For local users in Mondovi, the presence of such contrasting experiences would necessitate thorough personal investigation, perhaps by seeking multiple quotes and verifying part quality, before committing to services at City Limits Truck & Auto Repair LLC.

That place is awesome he not only fixed my car but also let me know what I'll need to have done in the future. Professional, fair prices, and speedy . pointment and work done. I think that place is my new go to spot from now on to get work done on my vehicles

Total rip off. Quoted me $425 for a/c replacement, the charged me $723 after it was done. A/C did not sound right afterwards and he told me it was not the new compressor, but my fan although fan sounded fine without A/C on Now. 10,000 miles later, the system failed . The compressor he had put in looked like it had 1000,000 miles on it, all corroded and made in China. Obviously a used part. The thermal expansion valve was packed with metal filings and the clutch barely turned. No lubrication was found in the system at all I tried to keep my business in Mondovi always, but got burned that time.
