Cherry Road Automotive Introduce

Cherry Road Automotive, situated at 1437 Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732, USA, functions as an auto repair station, providing a range of services related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Operating within the general category of Auto Repair Stations, this establishment aims to address various automotive issues that vehicle owners in the Rock Hill area may encounter. As an auto repair station, their core business involves diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical problems in automobiles, offering services that typically encompass a broad spectrum of car care needs.

Regarding the environment at Cherry Road Automotive, specific details about the physical appearance or comfort of the facility are not extensively provided in the given reviews. However, the nature of an auto repair station suggests a functional workspace designed to handle vehicles. This would typically include repair bays, diagnostic equipment, and tools necessary for various automotive tasks. There would also likely be an office or reception area for customer interactions, where vehicle issues are discussed, estimates are provided, and payments are processed. The customer experiences, particularly the negative ones, indirectly suggest an environment where communication and customer relations may present challenges, impacting the overall atmosphere perceived by clients.

The services offered by Cherry Road Automotive, based on customer accounts, include general mechanical repairs and electrical system diagnostics and fixes. Specifically, customers have sought services for replacing a brake vacuum pump and a crankcase vent valve, indicating their capability to handle engine-related and braking system repairs. They also engage in electrical work, such as rewiring for high beam and low beam issues. This suggests that Cherry Road Automotive attempts to provide solutions for common and sometimes more complex automotive problems, aiming to restore vehicle functionality. The business's ability to take on various repair tasks places it within the standard scope of an auto repair station.

The features of Cherry Road Automotive, as conveyed through customer reviews, present a concerning picture related to service quality, communication, and problem resolution. One customer's experience highlights several critical issues. Initially, there was an agreement for specific repairs, but then additional work was performed without prior authorization, leading to an increased cost. This suggests a lack of transparent communication and adherence to agreed-upon estimates. Furthermore, the customer reported that the car was not fixed correctly the first time, leading to a subsequent breakdown immediately after pickup. When confronted about the unresolved issue, the mechanic, identified as Mike, allegedly became defensive and accused the customer of wanting something for free, despite the customer having already made a down payment. This points to significant problems with accountability and customer service when issues arise post-repair. The customer's assertion that the "supposed to be nice guy is really not as nice as he pretend" and the car being in "way worse shape than it went in for" are severe criticisms of the business's integrity and quality of work.

Another review reinforces these concerns, detailing a recurring issue with headlight functionality after repair attempts. The customer initially had both high and low beam issues, which Cherry Road Automotive attempted to fix by rewiring. However, the problem resurfaced shortly after, indicating a potential lack of thoroughness or expertise in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues. When the customer returned for a free re-fix, one problem was solved, but another appeared (passenger side high beam out), prompting the mechanic to allegedly claim someone had tampered with the car, which the customer denies. This suggests a pattern of shifting blame and a failure to take full responsibility for incomplete or faulty repairs. The customer's strong recommendation to "not recommend them to anyone" and the descriptor "ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS" underscore a significant dissatisfaction with the quality of service and the resolution process.

Given the nature of the feedback, specific promotional information from Cherry Road Automotive is not provided in a positive light within these reviews. Instead, the customer experiences serve as highly critical informal "anti-promotional" information. When customers advise others to "be careful when dealing with people like this guy" and to "not use this mechanic, you’re better off taking it anywhere else," these statements act as powerful deterrents for potential new clients. While any auto repair station might advertise their services through typical channels, the prevailing sentiment from these reviews would likely overshadow any formal promotional efforts. The lack of resolution, perceived dishonesty, and recurring issues documented by customers would significantly impact the trust and confidence that local users in Rock Hill, SC, would place in Cherry Road Automotive for their vehicle repair needs. Therefore, based on the provided information, the reputation for quality and customer satisfaction appears to be a significant challenge for this business.

Cherry Road Automotive Customer Reviews

On 4/3/25. I took my car to cherry road automative. Which was a .mistake. Now Mike was only supposed to remove and replaced break vacuum pump andthe crankcase vent valve than he said he had to drain the oil incar the total came to $720.38 granted i was ok with that so when I went to pick up the car. Mike is going to ask me what did he say the price was. I told him, he than proceed to tell me he is going to have to charge me $800. I was like for what, he said because when he got under the car he had to replace two seals. I was like ok, but thinking to my self you are suppose to call me to authorize work on my car that we didn't discuss. But I was thinking to my self to let it go. So I take my car home didn't drive it anymore that day, just to wake up the next morning for my car not to move at all, called tripple A for them to take it back to find out what he did to it that it would not go. This suppose to be nice guy is going to accuse me of wanting something for free. Dude did I not offer to make a down payment on what you initially stated. OK so how can you say I wanted something for free. What Mike the supposed be nice Mike fail to realize you and your boys didn't do the job right the first time. The supposed to be nice guy got so defensive, that how I know he was in the wrong. All I am saying The supposed be nice guy is really not as nice as he pretend. All I am saying please becareful when dealing with people like this guy. I can say more about this cat,but I hope you guys get point.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. 2 weeks ago I went to them and explained to them that on one side my high beam wasn’t working and on the other side my low beam wasn’t working. So they had to rewire both sides and when I picked the car up everything was working well until yesterday I notice my driver side low beam once again had went out. So I went back today and they agreed to fix it free of charge considering I had already paid two weeks prior and when I went to pick the car up the low beam was fixed but the passenger side high beam was out. And he tried to say that someone had been messing around under my hood since they last worked on it which is a total lie. These guys obviously don’t know what the hell there doing so I won’t be returning for any future repairs and I do not recommend them to anyone. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
