My daughter had to take her car somewhere for wipers that stopped working. They took her in right away, diagnosed the problem which was massive ice buildup. They cleared the ice, reassembled and tested and had the car ready to go within an hour all at no charge! As a mechanic that lives 2 hours away, I have the utmost respect for this shop and its Crews honesty... GOOD JOB BOYS!

I bought an as-is car recently and the staff here was amazing to work with during the process to get the car on the road. They were fair with prices, transparent of the work that needed to be done, and had amazing turn around time for the work. Could not recommend this shop enough.

The gentlemen hear are professional and honest. I had an oil leak and they educated me on what happened and took care of the leak. They didn’t charge me for it. That shows good business and display of honest work. I came back to get my vehicle serviced a few months after and they were top notch as per usual. I highly recommend their services.

Cheapside auto care has helped me out on more than one occasion and I think it's about time I write them a good review. My Chev HHR had quit holding a charge , and the tech Dan actually stayed slightly late to help repair a bad wire. All along I had thought it was the alternator. A few months into ownership I got run off the road and my exhaust pipe hit the curb and it broke the flex pipe. The flex pipe on those cars is not only expensive but in a tough spot to access. Phil and Ryan found a way to rig in a piece of custom piping for much cheaper than the actual replacement piping , and that was appreciated more than words can explain. They have also became the main shop of choice for my parent's older two vehicles. They've done a fuel pump on my parent's GMC. and they cleared up a major wiring issue on my parent's Pontiac Torrent. They also got the wipers working on my Crown vic, had to rewire an entire harness that melted, that's above my skill set, and I appreciate their work greatly!

My son was stranded in London (we live an hour away) on a Thursday night with an overheating engine on his Ford Taurus. Bill at Cheapside Auto squeezed him in Friday to do some diagnostics. It was his water pump. Not a cheap job as it calls for basically the entire front end to be taken apart to get to it. The shop broke down all costs and was very honest and transparent. Never having visited this shop before and living so far away we took a big chance trusting this shop. It paid off. I know that the technician worked on my son’s car on his own time to troubleshoot. I am so appreciative of the time they put into solving my son’s car issues and how kind and honest they were. Great job and thanks again!! Erica
