Chandler Custom Cycles Introduce
Chandler Custom Cycles, located at 2775 N Arizona Ave Ste 8, Chandler, AZ 85225, USA, serves the local community as a dedicated Auto Repair Station for motorcycles. They can be reached by phone at (480) 497-3573 or mobile at +1 480-497-3573. As their name suggests, they specialize not only in general motorcycle repair and maintenance but also in custom motorcycle building and modifications, catering to motorcycle enthusiasts who seek personalized vehicles or reliable servicing.
The core philosophy of Chandler Custom Cycles, as stated on their own website, is "to produce, market and service the highest quality custom motorcycles and provide quality accessories and repairs to the motorcycle enthusiast." This mission highlights their dual focus on both bespoke bike creation and routine maintenance. The business, owned and operated by Harold Fischer, has been established since 1998, building a reputation for custom bike building and providing repairs at what they aim to be reasonable prices. They emphasize understanding the "passion of building your own machine," indicating a deep appreciation for motorcycle culture among their staff. Their commitment extends to taking "the same pride and care... whether you're purchasing a $10 oil filter or a $30,000 motorcycle," suggesting a consistent level of dedication to all customers and services.
While detailed descriptions of the physical environment of Chandler Custom Cycles are not extensively available through general online information, it can be inferred from their specialization that the shop likely provides a focused and enthusiast-friendly atmosphere. A custom motorcycle shop often features a showroom showcasing custom builds and a well-equipped workshop for repairs and modifications. The environment would likely be clean and organized to facilitate precise work on motorcycles, and given the nature of custom work, it would also serve as a space where customers can discuss their customization ideas and see various parts and accessories. The mention of "wonderfully talented and caring people" by a customer further suggests a welcoming and approachable setting, where staff are not only skilled but also personable and informative.
Chandler Custom Cycles offers a variety of services, positioning themselves as a comprehensive destination for motorcycle owners. Based on available information, their services include:
- General Motorcycle Repair and Service: This encompasses routine maintenance and addressing common mechanical issues that motorcycles might encounter. As exemplified by a customer's review, services like tire installation, oil changes, and fork seal replacements are part of their offerings.
- Tire Services: This involves installing new tires and, critically, balancing them for optimal performance and safety. While one customer had an issue with balancing, it is a stated service.
- Oil Changes: A fundamental part of motorcycle maintenance, ensuring the engine runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Fork Seal Replacement: Addressing issues with suspension components, vital for ride comfort and handling.
- Custom Motorcycle Building: This is a significant aspect of their business, where they create unique, handcrafted motorcycles tailored to customer specifications. Their website mentions their commitment to "the old way of building custom motorcycles - one at a time."
- Motorcycle Customization and Modifications: For those who want to personalize their existing bikes, Chandler Custom Cycles provides services to modify various aspects of a motorcycle, from aesthetics to performance enhancements.
- Sales of Quality Accessories: They likely stock or can order a range of motorcycle parts and accessories to support both repairs and customization projects.
A notable feature of Chandler Custom Cycles, as highlighted by positive customer feedback, is their pricing and customer interaction. One satisfied customer praised them for a "great price for the whole package" (tire, oil change, and fork seals) and expressed their intention to make it their "go to shop." This suggests a competitive pricing structure and a high level of satisfaction with the overall service experience. The same reviewer also commended the staff – Bob, P.J., Brent, and Scott – as "awesome, friendly, and very informative," emphasizing a positive and supportive customer service approach. This level of personal engagement and clear communication is crucial in the auto repair industry, especially for a specialized field like motorcycles where enthusiasts often value a deep understanding of their machines.
However, like any service provider, customer experiences can be varied. One review indicates a lapse in service regarding tire balancing. The customer took a wheel in for tire installation and was initially told balancing weights were unavailable but would be applied the next day. Upon picking up the wheel and paying, they discovered no additional weights had been applied, leading to an unbalanced wheel. While this is a single instance, it suggests that there may be occasional inconsistencies in ensuring all aspects of a repair are completed as promised. The fact that the customer checked the wheel at home and found it unbalanced highlights the importance of thorough quality control and transparent communication regarding service completion. Despite this isolated negative experience, the overall reputation from their mission statement and other reviews points towards a generally positive and dedicated service.
Regarding promotional information, specific, time-sensitive promotions for Chandler Custom Cycles are not widely advertised in the provided public information. However, based on the nature of an "Auto Repair Station" and a business focused on customer value, general promotional strategies that they might employ or that customers might indirectly benefit from include:
- Competitive Pricing: As seen in one review, offering "great prices for the whole package" can act as a significant draw.
- Quality Guarantees: While not explicitly stated in the reviews, reputable repair shops often stand by their work. Their website's statement, "We stand behind all our products and services 100%," suggests a commitment to customer satisfaction and implicitly, a form of warranty on their work.
- Personalized Service: For custom work, the ability to build a relationship with experienced and friendly staff who understand a customer's specific needs (as indicated by the appreciation for staff members like Bob, P.J., Brent, and Scott) is a powerful form of promotion, fostering repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Newsletter: Their website mentions an option to sign up for a "CCC Newsletter," which could be used to announce special offers, events, or new custom projects.
In summary, Chandler Custom Cycles appears to be a well-regarded establishment in Chandler, AZ, for motorcycle repair and customization. They offer a range of services from routine maintenance to intricate custom builds, backed by a passion for motorcycles and a commitment to customer satisfaction, even though there might be isolated instances of service inconsistencies.

I’m sure this place does some good work, they just didn’t for me. Took a wheel in to get a tire installed. Came back to pick it up and they said they didn’t have the weights to balance it but would have it done the fallowing day. I came at the end of the next day and they said it was done so I paid them and when I got home I looked at the wheel; they hadn’t put a single weight beyond the one it went to them with already on it. I checked the wheel and it was quite unbalanced.

Took my Harley to this local shop to get some tire, oil change, and fork seals. Got a great price for the whole package, and will definitely making this my "go to shop" for my bike. Everyone was awesome, friendly, and very informative. Thanks Bob, P.J., Brent, and Scott.

Do yourselves a favor, folks, and avoid this place like a plague den. If there were a NEGATIVE rating system this place would get top marks. Professional is a word that should not be mentioned in the same breath as Chandler Custom Cycles because they were everything BUT professional. The paint job they gave my bike looks like it was done in a garage with a can of Krylon and none, not one of the new parts that I ordered were ever installed on the bike, despite being told numerous times that only one thing remained to be done to complete the customization of the bike. However, when I finally did take delivery of my bike (525 days after dropping it off) you would assume the project to be complete. No, because the cabling was not what was asked for, there were no mirrors. There are parts that are missing that were present when the bike was dropped off that they simply lost and never bothered to replace. Really there are just too many problems to list here. The biggest problem of all, however, is the overall lack of communication. Phone calls and text messages were nearly never returned and they at no time voluntarily contacted me. I had to make a nuisance of myself by actually going to the shop in person once a week (or more often) to try and get some form of update. Most times there would be no progress at all, but there was always an excuse as to why. All of these things pile on top of each other to create an overall terrible experience. Now some will say that Chandler Custom Cycles is a Harley Davidson shop and I should not have expected them to be able to do the work on my non-Harley motorcycle. But the thing is, it was a custom job and Chandler Custom Cycles said that it would be no problem. I’m quite sure they won’t stray from their nice safe Harleys ever again, but if they were unable to perform the work (and it is quite obvious now that they had no idea what they were doing) that they should have just said “Sorry, we only work on Harleys”. For my part I would never recommend Chandler Custom Cycles to anyone, for any reason, ever. You’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s worth the aggravation to try, but I think you should try a professional. ********************************************************** 3 Dec. 24: This morning I came out to my garage to discover a growing puddle of blue liquid under the back end of the motorcycle. Upon investigation I discovered that the drain plug to the final drive was leaking. Proving once and for all that the people at Chandler Custom Cycles either don't have any idea of what they are doing when servicing a motorcycle or, they just don't care about their customer's well being. An empty final drive could easily cause a dangerous or fatal accident when it seized. These people might want to consider going into the dog grooming buisness instead, noone dies grooming a poodle.

Chandler Custom Cycles has been great for me. I own a '99 Heritage Softail Classic and they've took my bike down for me when it needed emissions tested. Their service was super quick when I needed a new tire. They installed a new starter for me and it's worked like a charm. I went in to buy spark plugs and he came around the counter and installed it for me. I think their prices are absolutely fair and they've been honest with me, never trying to sell me something I don't need. I won't take my bike to anyone else!
