Chads Automotive Repair Customer Reviews

Rudest people I’ve ever met for him to be a “small town mechanic”. Called my sister to let her know her car was finished, and when we were told it was gonna be DOUBLE the expected amount and had asked why and what had happened he got incredibly rude and entitled. When we went to pick the car up I went inside to pay and get the keys and again an incredibly rude group of people met me. I paid for my car and recieved my keys and informed them how disappointed I was in the customer service of the business, a younger man then proceeded to follow me out to the car being again incredibly rude. Upon reading the receipt to see exactly what he charged us for we find out he didn’t even do all the work he was asked to do and it was still DOUBLE, he was asked to do an alignment and NEVER did. If I could give zero stars I would honestly. Also since when did it become acceptable to light a cigarette directly in front of a customers face inside an establishment let alone an automobile repair shop with cars inside of it.

Took my car to him and asked a simple question as to why it was now three broken studs instead of one, got an absolute shitty attitude with me over wanting to understand what was done to my car and why he was now charging me DOUBLE what anyone else quoted me, do not recommend. He also chased my sister out to the car cussing her out the whole time while she literally had to drive away from him.

Fast honest service. Had truck there for transmission fluid and filter change. Had it done by 1:30.

Thought I had a small town mechanic that I could trust, turns out I can't! Went to Chad's last year (2022) for tires and alignment, Chad told me that the tires he wanted to put on my car was good for the price and came with a good warranty. This year (2023) literally exactly a year later one of my tires was completely bald. Called Chad to see if he would look at my car to see why my tire is already bald. (Was thinking maybe a defect from the company) Talked to him on the phone later that day and he told me that my alignment was bad and then admitted that he NEVER did an alignment when he put my new tires on in 2022 then proceeded to tell me that he never rotated my tires when I was there for any of my oil changes. (Turns out I had bad tie rods as well but that doesn't change the fact that he didn't do all the work I paid him to do.) When he was confronted about this he said I denied an alignment and tire rotations, NEVER would I ever deny those things! My husband was right next to me and heard everything Chad was saying and heard him deny doing the work. I understand that bad tie rods will wear ur tires but not having an alignment done when u get new tires or rotating ur tires will wear them sooner than they should as well. All I wanted was a partial refund since half of the issue was caused by him. I honestly feel that he just used me for my money. Will not go back and will not recommend to anyone in the future!!!
