Certifit Auto Body Parts Introduce
Certifit Auto Body Parts, located at 90 Addison Rd, Addison, IL 60101, operates as a specialized auto parts store, focusing exclusively on new aftermarket auto body components. While categorized under the broader umbrella of "Auto Repair Stations" on some platforms, it's crucial for local users to understand that Certifit primarily sells parts and does not typically offer installation or repair services on-site. Instead, it serves as a crucial supplier for collision repair shops, independent mechanics, and even do-it-yourself enthusiasts looking for affordable replacement body parts for their vehicles.
The environment at Certifit Auto Body Parts is primarily that of a warehouse and sales counter, optimized for efficient parts distribution. Customers visiting the Addison location can expect a streamlined process focused on quickly identifying and procuring the necessary body components. This is corroborated by a customer review that praises "Super fast service." The facility would typically consist of a large inventory area where a vast selection of bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles, lights, and other body panels are stored. A dedicated sales counter allows customers to place orders, inquire about part availability, and pick up their purchases. The operational model emphasizes high volume and quick turnover, which contributes to their competitive pricing.
However, an important detail highlighted in a customer review is the state of the parts upon pickup: "Little upset for what I paid for my bumper cover it wasn't primed it was raw most places online I could have gotten it for at least primed but since it was local I took it. What will be considering other places in the future." This feedback indicates that while prices might be unbeatable, customers should be aware that parts might come in an unprimed, raw state, requiring additional preparation (sanding, priming) before painting and installation. This is a common characteristic of some aftermarket body parts suppliers aiming for the lowest possible price point. The expectation is that either the customer or their chosen body shop will handle the necessary finishing work.
Certifit Auto Body Parts specializes in providing a vast inventory of new, non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) auto body parts. Their primary "service" is the efficient provision of these parts to meet demand for collision repair and aesthetic restoration. The goods they offer for sale include, but are not limited to:
- Bumper Covers: Front and rear bumper covers for a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Fenders: Replacement front and rear fenders.
- Hoods: Hood assemblies.
- Headlights and Taillights: Replacement lighting components.
- Grilles: Front grilles and associated trim.
- Car Mirrors: Side view mirrors.
- Radiators and Condensers: Components for the cooling and air conditioning systems, which can often be damaged in front-end collisions.
- Reinforcements: Inner structural components that support exterior panels.
- Other Body Panels: A variety of other exterior body panels as needed for collision repair.
It's important to reiterate that Certifit's business model is centered on selling these parts. While some online mentions for other parts suppliers might include "installing services for parts," the core function of Certifit locations like the one in Addison is typically part sales, not installation. Customers needing installation will need to arrange this with a separate auto body shop or perform the work themselves.
Certifit Auto Body Parts distinguishes itself in the market through several key features:
- Unbeatable Prices: The most frequently praised feature, as highlighted by the customer review, is their pricing: "THE BEST PRICES for new auto body parts. Nobody can beat those prices." This focus on cost-effectiveness is a major draw for both professional body shops operating on tight budgets and individual consumers looking to save money on repairs.
- Fast Service/Quick Pickup: The "Super fast service" indicates an efficient order fulfillment and pickup process, which is critical for repair shops that need parts quickly to minimize vehicle downtime. While online orders might have a typical pickup window (e.g., 2-4 business days for non-painted parts, 7-10 business days for painted parts from other branches), local pickup from the Addison warehouse likely offers immediate or very rapid availability for in-stock items.
- Large Inventory: To support fast service, Certifit maintains a substantial inventory of aftermarket body parts, covering a wide range of vehicle years, makes, and models. This extensive stock reduces the waiting time for customers to acquire necessary components.
- Focus on Aftermarket Parts: By specializing in aftermarket parts, Certifit offers a more affordable alternative to OEM parts. While OEM parts guarantee a perfect fit and finish, aftermarket parts from reputable suppliers like Certifit are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, offering a cost-effective solution for repairs.
- Accessibility: Being a local physical store allows for direct pickup, avoiding shipping costs and delays often associated with online orders, as mentioned by the customer who chose them because "it was local."
The feedback about the unprimed bumper cover is a crucial piece of information about their product. This means that while the parts are new and structurally sound for their purpose, they might not be in a ready-to-paint condition, which is a trade-off for the significantly lower price point. Customers must factor in the additional cost and time for priming and painting the parts.
Certifit Auto Body Parts' primary "promotional information" is its consistent offering of low prices. They are known in the industry for being a go-to source for economical body parts. Specific daily or weekly "deals" are less common in this business model, as their entire pricing structure is designed to be highly competitive year-round. Their value proposition centers on:
- Cost Savings: Providing customers with significant savings compared to dealership prices for OEM body parts. The customer's enthusiastic endorsement of "Nobody can beat those prices" is a strong testament to this.
- Availability for Collision Repair: Ensuring that body shops and individuals have quick access to essential replacement parts, reducing repair times and getting vehicles back on the road faster.
- Alternative to Used Parts: Offering new aftermarket parts as an alternative to salvaged or used parts, which might come with unknown damage histories or wear.
While Certifit does not engage in traditional "Auto Repair Station" services, its role as a key supplier of affordable body parts is indispensable to the automotive ecosystem. For local users in Addison, IL, and surrounding areas, Certifit Auto Body Parts represents an invaluable resource for cost-effective collision repair and vehicle restoration projects. Customers looking for a bargain on new body components, and who are either prepared to handle the final finishing themselves or work with a body shop that can, will find Certifit to be an exceptionally competitive option.

Yes and no with them. They have been in service for a while however, they may not have to ability to satisfy the customer needs especially when they offer you a damaged part and refuse to offer you a reasonable discount. Take it or leave it is their moto, no other agreements for the sake of good business with long term customers.
