CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs Introduce

This introduction addresses CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs, located at 106 Eastview Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092, USA. While categorized under Auto Repair Stations, CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs appears to primarily function as an auto body shop, specializing in collision repair and related services. It is crucial for local users to be aware of recent customer feedback regarding their experiences with this facility before considering their services.

Information regarding the specific environment of CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, typical auto body shops feature areas for damage assessment, bodywork including dent removal and panel replacement, paint booths for refinishing vehicles, and assembly areas. Given that CARSTAR is a national franchise, one might expect a facility adhering to certain standards of operation. Nevertheless, the customer reviews provide direct accounts of service experiences that warrant careful consideration.

Based on the severely negative feedback from the two available customer reviews, the services purportedly offered by CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs include:

  • Dent Repair: Both reviews mention entrusting the shop with dent repair. However, the outcomes described were far from satisfactory.
  • Collision Repair: While not explicitly stated as the initial reason for the repairs in the reviews, the context of body shops implies collision repair as a primary service.
  • Painting/Refinishing: One review details issues with "over spray everywhere," indicating that painting services are offered, but potentially not executed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Body Panel Replacement: The first review mentions the car being at the shop for weeks over a dent, suggesting that even seemingly minor bodywork might involve extended repair times.

The features and characteristics emerging from the customer reviews paint a concerning picture. Instead of highlighting positive attributes, the feedback points to significant issues that potential local users should be aware of:

  • Excessive Repair Times: Both reviewers reported their vehicles being held at the shop for extended periods, described as "weeks" and "over a month," even for seemingly straightforward repairs like dent removal.
  • Poor Quality of Work: One review details receiving the car back with new dents and scratches allegedly caused by the shop's tools, as well as significant overspray on the vehicle's body and rims.
  • Failure to Rectify Mistakes: The same reviewer recounts taking the vehicle back multiple times to address the new damage and overspray, only to have the issues persist despite promises of repair from both staff and the owner.
  • Damage to Vehicle Components: One review mentions taillights not being reconnected properly, leading to them not working, further indicating a lack of attention to detail during the repair process.
  • Lack of Communication and Trust: The first review alleges being lied to about the repairs being completed and expresses frustration over perceived delays related to insurance payments.
  • Unprofessionalism: The second review describes the overall experience as the "absolute worst body shop experience ever had," citing BS excuses for poor workmanship and a failure by the owner to make things right.

Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the recent customer feedback, there is no indication of any positive promotional information or features that would benefit local users. The experiences shared strongly suggest potential pitfalls in choosing CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs for auto body repairs. The lack of positive comments and the detailed accounts of poor service and subpar workmanship serve as a cautionary note for anyone considering this facility.

It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be representative of every customer interaction. However, the detailed and consistent nature of the complaints regarding lengthy repair times, damage to vehicles, poor quality of work, and a lack of resolution are significant red flags that local users should not ignore. Potential customers are advised to weigh these experiences heavily when making a decision about where to entrust their vehicle for auto body repairs.

Due to the severely negative nature of the provided customer reviews, it would be imprudent to speculate on any positive aspects or potential promotions. The focus must remain on presenting an objective introduction based on the available information, which in this case, strongly suggests significant issues with the service provided by CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs.

In conclusion, based on the recent customer reviews, local users seeking auto body repair services in Lincolnton, NC, should exercise extreme caution when considering CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs. The feedback highlights significant concerns regarding extended repair times, damage inflicted on vehicles during the repair process, poor quality of workmanship, and a lack of effective customer service or resolution. These issues, if representative of the general service quality, could lead to a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience for potential customers. It is strongly recommended to seek alternative auto body repair shops with more positive and reliable customer feedback in the Lincolnton area.

CARSTAR Trick 1 Customs Customer Reviews

Absolute worst body shop experience I've ever had. Kept my car for weeks, I told them to take their time. Got my car back & it had new dents and scratches in it that was obviously from their tools, over spray everywhere, so bad it felt like sand paper. They promised to fix it & blamed it on someone being on vacation & the new guy doing it. Kept my car another week, got it back with the scratches, dents & over spay still there! Then my tail lights weren't reconnected properly & stopped working. Took it back & they kept it again, promised to fix it, even spoke to the owner. Got it back & there is still over spray on it & its on my rims bad. Still had marks from their dent/scratch repair & they said they forgot to buff that out after touching it up. Owner promised to make it right but never attempted to do so. Nothing but a hassle. If you want your car gone for over a month just to return with new damage from the body shop & nothing but BS excuses for crap work, then this is the place. I have pictures & messages to prove all of this.

This is the finished product after going 1 1/2 months without my truck. After being ignored and lied to by the guy acting like a manager and him also telling me that I didnt even own my truck … I had to get Wade (the owner) involved… He seemed to be really getting things goin and progress was being made . While picking up my truck and goin over things with him he told me and my wife that he replaced my passenger side headlight…when I got home a few hours later I noticed moisture in the headlight … and note this was the driver side headlight not the one that was supposedly replaced… popped the hood and find out that he tried to fix the headlight with silicone… lie number 2 by the way … he wanted me to bring the truck back but I refused… no way I’m letting this business touch anything of mine again … but a good note he did buy new headlights after he he new he messed up … I have him on text admitting to messing up by the way … we picked up the headlights and while putting them on we discovered he used rusty lug nuts to replace my headlight adjuster as pics show below … I sent him a pic and a text .. of course no response… I can go on but I highly suggest you stay away from this place and find someone else who doesn’t lie and do shady work

Great experience. My insurance was a pain. But, Trick 1 helped me throughout the entire process! My work was completed way sooner than I expected! And my vehicle looks brand new! Hoping I’ll never need them again but, if I do, I’ll gladly use them!

Carstar Trick 1 Custom was fully transparent about costs, the work being done, and communication between them and the insurance company. The girl at the front desk was always very nice and I never had to wait for her getting me to the right person to answer my questions. My appraiser was Brandy, and if you even think because she's a women that she don't know what she's doing, you are dead wrong. She knew things, and saw damage I completely overlooked. Brandy is amazing at what she does. Once it was checked in my baby was in their hands. You have to understand, there are people that buy wranglers, then there are people that live wranglers. Since I was 17, I have only ever owned and drove jeep wranglers. I can say, my TJ 2004 was rear ended about as hard and was almost no damage done. These new jeeps can not take a rear collision! Throughout the process I was not a easy customer. I felt like I was leaving a child in the hands of strangers and I didn't trust anyone. Anytime the estimate changed, I was notified immediately. Anytime there was a issue, I was notified immediately. Brandy was always 2 steps ahead. I viewed the appraisal. I saw that a reconditioned bumper was being looked for and Carstar is fully transparent on pricing and where the parts come from. I wanted something with more protection then the stock plastic bumper and Carstars hands were tied when it comes to what parts they are allowed to use by State Farm. This was the only hold up, and like I said I'm not a easy customer to deal with. This was about a week into the Jeep being dropped off. I didn't even have a appraiser yet so the hold up was not Carstars fault. I want what I want on my vehicle. When a appraiser was finally assigned it took some jujitsu to get them to ok the custom bumper, but they understood my concerns and agreed. I chose a bumper that was the same price as the one Carstar was going to order and relayed the info. Brandy got straight to work on getting this on order. Again full transparency. After a few days Brandy called and let me know the bumper would be in at a certain date range. It would take about another week. No problem! The date of arrival has come and gone. Brandy called to let me know it didn't come in. The bumper was placed on backorder after it was ordered as in stock. So normally when this happens a shop has to wait for a refund before they can dish out the money for another part. This is just smart business. The owner Wade impressed me very much when he called me from his home, off work and losing his voice. The staff relayed my frustrations about having to wait for a refund which does take a few days before ordering another bumper. I understand a business can't just keep throwing money out for parts which are already ordered. Like I said... I'm hard to deal with. Wade did everything in his power to get the in stock bumper on order. After talking to extreme terrain they agreed to just swap the part numbers on the already processed order. Extreme terrain and Wade went out of their way to get my Jeep back to me. They also shipped it, and has it in the shop in 3 business days. No matter what hurdles were in the way, the Olympic skilled team at Trick 1 leaped over them again and again. The quality of their work: I have had cars repaired before and normally they pull dents then fill them with some fiberglass, sand it and paint it. This quarter panel was crinkled like a old wash board. When I saw the qst set of pictures I couldn't believe my eyes. I knew what this thing looked like after the accident and that quarter panel was straight as a glass panel. After the bumper arrived I was called in to make sure the bumper was the one I wanted. Barricade Trail master (I think) and it was awesome! I was net there by Wade and I'm telling you, this guy cares about how you feel during, and after the entire process. Within a few short hours the bumper was installed and my Jeep was finally ready. I'm out of room here and so much more nice things to say. If you don't choose Trick one, Your chosing wrong! My jeep was DETAILED! NEW!
