My wife brought her explorer in for a noise in the front end. Had changed a part at a different shop when she took it there they looked at it right away and saw that they didn’t tighten a bolt. They fixed the problem and she was on her way with no more noise and didn’t even ask for any payment.

I've been here for two different reasons: 1) Electrical issues and 2) brake issues. They promptly fixed both and got me back on the road. The owner D.J. is very kind, transparent and professional.

On July 13, 2023 I decided to stop next door at Valvoline for an oil change while I was on my work lunch because I didn’t have time to go to my dealership. When I left Valvoline I got around the block when my car had black smoke coming out the exhaust, the engine light came on, and my vehicle started to shake. I immediately turned back around to Valvoline and when they took a look at it they claimed it was just a coincidence and nothing to do with the physical oil change itself. They recommended me go next door to CARS. CARS ran the diagnostic and determined they had overfilled my oil at Valvoline. The owner actually even had me come in the back of their shop to show me what was wrong and then proceeded to walk next door to Valvoline with the dipstick from my car to show them their mistake. CARS took a further look and discovered my spark plugs were bad. They immediately called to get the correct spark plugs for my vehicle, put them in, and boom the engine light was off, no shaking, no smoke. I’m still extremely unhappy with Valvoline at this whole situation but thank GOD for CARS because they were so accommodating and honest with me. The owner even suggested I take a picture of the dipstick to show they overfilled it and gave me the bad spark plugs to take home and show my husband. I’ve never experienced this level of compassion at a car shop EVER. They really went above and beyond. Thank you so much CARS!

I was 2 hours from home with a locked brake and needed to be home quickly. They were able to get me in while busy and get the issue fixed fast. Great customer service the entire time, definitely recommend!

I love cars of novi! I got my brakes done and they were totally honest and stuck to their warranty. I trust them and feel that they try to give me the best deal possible. The women working the front desk/office is super sweet and so is DJ. Will definitely come back!
