The service department for mechanical repair is the worst department I have ever dealt with in 40+ years of driving Fords. I even sold 1 of my trucks (F150) so I do not have to even think about patronizing the SJC location as much. There are too many instances of concern to mention. I could mention 4 lengthy instances but will spare you the time. Fool Around with this dealership and you will Find Out.

Great service advisors. The team does try to communicate well and keep the customers well informed about the status of their service. Unfortunately, they don't wash your car after servicing your vehicle anymore. That was a nice service. Often, the vehicles are left outside and come back dirtier. They really should keep that standard practice. It's nice to have shiny, clean Fords driving off the lot.

Good service overall. Kerby, the service manager, did a great job communicating and got me a rental car since my vehicle issue was under warranty. Please bring back the free car wash after service. Overall I am happy with the service. Hat tip to Kerby.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Take note of the other reviews regarding how bad this service department is. I called trying to get some information on a part number and was asked “Why do I need it?”, intentionally not wanting to give me the part so I would have to buy it from them. Yes I get running a business to make money but trying to get over by not giving a part number is top notch shady for me. If this is small thing to you then so be it but find a good mom and pop shop for your service.

Overall the service was better than most Ford centers. I do belive that when someone comes in with a vechice under warranty. It has a issue they should provide rental at drop off, not after it is put in line to be seen. Waiting for diagnosis should not be th clients problem. If it is a recall and issues under warrenty it should be automatic rentals If needed. We shouldent have to have brought in our Auto twice for recalls with in a year and not get a replacement car during diagnosis. If I recevied a rental it would not interupted our work schedule. Some of your service people are constantly working and need help. Joseph was in constant motion and is a very hard worker but very stressed. Over all I would bring my auto back. Thank you for working so hard for us.
