Purchased an ARE camper shell for my Toyota Tacoma from Truck Tops / Campway's and had it installed in February 2021. Placed the order through their Santa Rosa store and they shipped it to the San Jose facility for install close to home. Their San Jose staff later told me they were not trained in installing this brand. Loose wiring draped through my truck's frame suggests a larger issue: quality of install was not a priority at all. The brand new shell had a few mechanical issues (including door alignment and binding hinges), which I was optimistic Campway's would help resolve. The San Jose staff punted and the Santa Rosa staff played telephone and email tag with me and for the next four months, but ultimately did not address any of the major issues nor their shoddy wiring. Despite acknowledging the issues, Campway's / Trucktops refused to back up its installation or the products it sells. They blamed ARE for the problems but wouldn't return the shell, leaving me in limbo with a defective product and sub-par install. They stopped responding to email a few weeks ago. Pros: Competitive pricing. Cons: Poorly trained installers, poor installation quality, failed to make it right.

Very positive experience. I have ordered a Leer shell for my pickup. It arrived much faster than we expected. The dealer called me to set up an appointment two and a half month earlier than the date I thought the shell would be ready. The staff is very nice. The installation took about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. It was installed to my complete satisfaction. I have taken my truck through a high pressure car wash right after installation. No leaks. Would I recommend this business to my friend? YES!

After struggling to get a bed cover online, I found Campways. And I’m very glad I did. The staff here is knowledgeable, professional and exceptionally friendly. They had an answer for all my questions and I ended up getting a bed cover that I really couldn’t be happier with. They installed it in less than an hour and went over it with me step by step so I knew everything mg the cover can do. Even how to remove it if I chose to some day. I strongly recommend reaching out or paying them a visit for all of your truck accessory needs. They’ll help you find the right fit for you and do so at a reasonable price. Their showroom is packed with displays so you can see your options in person. I’ll be back to Campways when I need more toys for my truck.

Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere! I was referred to this store to purchase a RSI Smart Cap for my F150. The installer damaged one of the side panels by scratching it and spilling super glue on it. He didn't mention it until I noticed it at delivery. The installer took some touch up paint to cover the scratches and said "just buy mineral spirits for the glue and it will come off". I asked him if it would leave a mark and he said "No that mineral spirits would just remove the glue". I asked him why he didn't and he replied "We don't have any". Surprised at what I heard I approached Teresa letting her know my dissatisfaction and she brushed it off and acted completely unprofessional while printing the invoice asking for the $4,500 balance. I was about to refuse it however, Andres overheard her and how the conversation was going and stepped in to say he would reach out to RSI (manufacturer) to "see what he could do". I also told Andres I had a missing key to the locks which he said he added to the email. Thinking that what the installer said would resolve the issue, I paid and left. I went to a local auto parts store and spent $18 on mineral spirits to remove the glue. After applying the mineral spirits as directed, it revealed a permanent stain where the glue was. I immediately called back Campways and spoke to Andres and he seemed irritated I called back and told me he already sent an email and he would be in touch. Not happy I called RSI directly and come to find out that Andres lied in his email saying the panel came in damaged and it also had a damaged lock and needed a new one with a key. I told RSI that was not true and that the dealer had damaged the panel and all I needed was another key and panel. RSI with no hesitation said they would send another panel along with a key to correct the problem. RSI also noticed by the pictures I sent, that Campways failed to install the lock covers that were suppose to come with the Smartcap I purchased. After a few weeks and careful consideration, I chose not to have Campways replace the panel fearing more damage to the Smartcap or to my truck. RSI is sending me the my lock covers and key and a few other items directly.
