Caliber Collision Introduce
Located at 3131 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA, Caliber Collision operates as a specialized "Auto Repair Station" with a primary focus on collision repair and auto body restoration. While falling under the broad umbrella of auto repair, Caliber Collision distinguishes itself by addressing damage sustained from accidents, ranging from minor dents and scratches to major structural repairs. They can be reached via phone at (702) 641-4190 or +1 702-641-4190.
The environment at a Caliber Collision center is typically designed for efficiency and customer reassurance in a post-accident scenario. Upon arrival, customers would likely enter a clean and professional reception area, where staff can guide them through the repair process, insurance claims, and service estimates. The main workshop area, as an "Auto Repair Station" specializing in bodywork, would feature dedicated bays for various stages of collision repair. This includes areas for vehicle disassembly, frame straightening machines, dent pulling equipment, and advanced welding tools. A critical component of a collision repair facility is a state-of-the-art paint booth and mixing room, ensuring precise color matching and a flawless finish. The overall environment would be one of organized activity, with skilled technicians meticulously working on damaged vehicles. Caliber Collision often emphasizes a modern and streamlined approach to auto body repair, aiming to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, both structurally and aesthetically. Their facilities are generally well-maintained, reflecting the precision and care required for quality bodywork.
As an "Auto Repair Station" specializing in collision repair, Caliber Collision offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to vehicles that have sustained accident damage. These services typically include, but are not limited to:
Collision Repair: Repairing structural and cosmetic damage resulting from accidents, ranging from minor impacts to significant collisions.
Dent and Scratch Repair: Addressing smaller imperfections, including paintless dent repair (PDR) for minor dents, and traditional methods for more extensive damage.
Frame Straightening: Utilizing advanced equipment to restore a vehicle's frame to its factory specifications after structural damage, which is crucial for safety and alignment.
Paint Services: Expert color matching and application to seamlessly blend repaired areas with the original paintwork, ensuring a uniform and high-quality finish. This often includes full vehicle repaints if necessary.
Glass Repair and Replacement: Repairing chips and cracks in windshields or replacing entire windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
Bumper Repair: Repairing or replacing damaged front and rear bumpers.
Mechanical Repair (post-collision): Addressing any mechanical issues that may have resulted from the collision, such as suspension damage or engine component issues, often in conjunction with bodywork.
Estimate and Insurance Assistance: Working directly with insurance companies to facilitate claims and provide detailed repair estimates, aiming to simplify the process for the vehicle owner.
Their focus is on bringing vehicles back to a safe, roadworthy, and aesthetically pleasing condition after an accident.
The features of Caliber Collision, as gleaned from customer reviews, present a mixed, yet insightful, perspective. One customer expresses strong satisfaction, stating, "I was very impressed with Caliber, they communicated effectively and gave me my car on the day they promised to have it ready. the body paint was exactly as my vehicle paint and i am very happy with their work, Henry was excellent!!!" This highlights several key positive features: effective communication, adherence to promised timelines, and high-quality paint matching, which is a critical aspect of collision repair. The specific mention of "Henry" indicates personalized and excellent customer service. This suggests that when things go well, Caliber Collision can deliver on its promises, particularly concerning turnaround time and paint finish.
Conversely, another review raises significant concerns. This customer advises, "Pick a small shop over these people," recounting an incident where their "older vehicle" was "totalled" by Caliber Collision due to what seemed like minor damage (smashed tailgate and ding in rear bumper crossmember). The customer claims Caliber initially stated the vehicle "needed a whole frame," then changed their story, but the total loss had already been reported to insurance. The review also alleges that Caliber "will lose clips during their expensive inspection for damage" and suggests that their "super friendly" demeanor might mask potential issues, implying a lack of transparency or an aggressive approach to declaring vehicles total losses. This critical feedback points to potential issues with initial damage assessment accuracy, communication regarding the extent of damage, and potentially questionable practices that lead to vehicles being deemed a total loss, which can significantly impact a vehicle owner, especially for older models. It also raises concerns about meticulousness during inspections.
In terms of promotional information, Caliber Collision, as a large chain, likely leverages its network and perceived reliability to attract customers, often through direct relationships with insurance companies. The positive review implicitly promotes their strong communication, timely service, and high-quality paint work, which are crucial factors for customers dealing with accident repairs. The mention of individuals like "Henry" further suggests a focus on personalized customer interaction, which can be a significant draw. However, the negative review serves as a cautionary tale, implying that customers should be diligent in understanding the assessment process and the rationale behind repair recommendations, particularly for older vehicles where repair costs versus vehicle value can be a complex decision. While Caliber Collision aims to be a leading "Auto Repair Station" for collision repair, the available information suggests that while they can deliver excellent results for many, customers should engage actively in the repair process and potentially seek independent verification of damage assessments to ensure a transparent and fair outcome. Their overall promotional strategy would be centered on providing a hassle-free and high-quality repair experience, aiming for customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of post-accident vehicle issues.

Pick a small shop over these people. They "totalled" my older vehicle due to a smashed tailgate and ding in the rear bumper crossmember in a 4runner. They said it needed a whole frame, then changed their story when I showed them how ridiculous that sounded. It was too late and they already reported it to insurance as a total loss. They will lose clips during their expensive inspection for damage. They are super friendly, but that's because most scammers are.

At first I was so happy with this place UNTIL i actually picked my car up it was a disaster. They made me pick my car up before everything was done so “They can close out their monthly books”. The foam that holds my spare tire is missing due to careless mechanics. My dashboard is filled with lights now since the did not use Honda parts they used after market so the sensors won’t calibrate and shut off. My battery is now all of a sudden having issues like WTF did caliber do? Why would they not replace my Honda parts with Honda parts? My front lights are different colors now it’s just horrible. They “detailed” my car however look at the outcome, all their cleaning supplies still on my floor board with an awful smell since i picked up the car. I am still waiting for the foam piece to be replaced and for them to also install the part on my right side window they couldn’t wait for. They also called me Friday 11/29 at 2pm to get my car which I couldn’t as I was working until Saturday so they called the rental company and told them the car was ready friday so I had to pay Saturday out of pocket for the rental due to their rushing closing out my car. Now I have to wait to be reimbursed through a check. My attorney said they have had several issues with these body shops progressive wants to send customers too and it’s disgusting. I picked up my car 11/30… still waiting for my car to be fixed yet im driving it around smh it’s DECEMBER 10th. All because this small shop needed to close out their monthly books they rushed the process. I’ll be adding photos as well as I suspect they didn’t use a new hood yet charged for one. The front Honda piece is crooked and when asked Henry about it his response was NOTHING. Just “when you come back for the part we will look at it” WTF Don’t come here especially if you are young, they will downplay you and treat you like a fool. Totally unprofessional. UPDATE: As of 12/18/2024 no response on when the part will be here. No response on the shipping time frame of my foam peice that holds my spare tire. Also uploading photos of my front end where you can see the difference. There is a gaping hole where they “fixed” the crashed side. This is the worst place to go to have your car taken care of.

Dylan made you feel at home from the first day you arrived. He gives you confidence and makes you feel so comfortable. He is a very kind, professional young man and everything is well explained. You are the best and thanks to everyone who fixed my car and made it look very nice. The customer service is excellent.

I wanted a replacement instead of a repair. Because Progressive was wanting to keep the cost to a minimum, my repairs was treated to a minimum. I requested Caliber to do it properly and replace it instead of keeping a damaged bumper and repairing it. The integrity of the bumper just isn’t the same compared to a new one.
