Brunswick Auto Recycling Introduce

Welcome to Brunswick Auto Recycling, located at 117 Bath Rd, Brunswick, ME 04011, USA. Operating within the Auto Repair Stations category, Brunswick Auto Recycling serves as a key provider of used auto parts to the local community. As an auto recycling facility, they offer a wide selection of salvaged vehicle components, providing a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new parts. This type of business is crucial for both individual car owners looking for budget-friendly repair options and auto repair shops seeking affordable parts for their services. Brunswick Auto Recycling positions itself as a significant resource for those in need of pre-owned automotive components in the Brunswick area and potentially beyond.

Based on the limited but contrasting customer reviews, the environment at Brunswick Auto Recycling appears to be a typical salvage yard setting, characterized by a large inventory of used vehicles and parts. One reviewer noted "so many and so much in stock," suggesting an extensive collection of automotive components. This implies a potentially vast and somewhat sprawling environment where various makes and models of vehicles are dismantled and their usable parts are made available for sale. The mention of a "huge" junkyard dog adds a unique, albeit potentially off-putting for some, element to the environment. The contrasting negative review paints a picture of unprofessionalism, with accusations of wasted time and offensive language, which stands in stark contrast to the helpfulness described in the positive review.

As an auto recycling facility, the primary service offered by Brunswick Auto Recycling is the sale of used auto parts. Based on the positive customer feedback, their key service attributes include:

  • Large Inventory: The statement "So many and so much in stock" indicates a potentially extensive selection of used auto parts, increasing the likelihood of customers finding the specific components they need.
  • Hard-to-Find Parts: The reviewer suggests that if Brunswick Auto Recycling doesn't have a part, it might be very difficult to find elsewhere, implying they may stock a diverse range of components, including those that are less common.
  • Assistance with Loading: The positive review mentions receiving help with loading the purchased parts, indicating a level of customer service that goes beyond simply selling the items.

However, the negative review presents a starkly different perspective on their service, alleging:

  • Wasting Customer Time: The accusation of telling a customer to come in for a part and then refusing to sell it suggests a lack of reliability and poor inventory management or communication.
  • Unprofessionalism: The description of "unprofessional hillbillies" and the alleged use of obscenities paints a picture of poor customer service and a negative interaction.
  • Low Class Behavior: This further reinforces the negative portrayal of their customer service and overall demeanor.

The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of approaching Brunswick Auto Recycling with a degree of caution and perhaps managing expectations. While one customer had a positive experience characterized by a large inventory and helpful service, another reported a highly negative interaction involving wasted time and unprofessional conduct.

Features of Brunswick Auto Recycling:

  • Potentially Large Inventory of Used Parts: May be a good source for a wide variety of automotive components.
  • Possible Source for Hard-to-Find Parts: Their extensive stock might include less common items.
  • Potential for Assistance with Parts: At least one customer received help with loading.
  • Risk of Unprofessional Interactions: One review strongly suggests the possibility of negative and unprofessional customer service.
  • Inconsistent Customer Experience: The vastly different reviews indicate a lack of consistent service quality.
  • Salvage Yard Environment: Customers should expect a typical auto recycling facility setting.

Brunswick Auto Recycling Customer Reviews

So many and so much in stock if they don't have it good luck finding it elsewhere ,I've never seen a junk yard dog until I went to Brunswick the dog was huge and they had what I needed and help me load and off I went

If I could leave zero stars I would. Unprofessional hillbillies. They will waste your time and tell you to come up for a part then when you get there they refuse. When you thank them for wasting your time they call you obscenities. Low class even for a salvage yard.

If you valued your money don’t buy anything from this place. They are Terrible. I drove 40 minutes from Portland all the way to Brunswick and I call before I went to their place and they confirm that they have the part. Arrived there and the part was broken. Please don’t buy anything from those peoples. They don’t valued your time. Go somewhere else. If there is zero star

The owners are the rudest people EVER. I was turning my vehicle around and she came out with extreme attitude telling me we can’t drive around the lot, which we already knew. Common sense. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone if you want good customer service. I also reported them to the better business bureau due to the customer service people receive.
