I was referred by a friend to this shop. Douglas was very knowledgeable & also honest. I showed him the estimate I got from the dealer not only he saved me money on parts but he said there was a lot of parts that weren’t required to perform the repair. I’m so happy I found this place.

Went to Boomerang Auto under recommendation by a family member. First off the garage is kept in very bad shape. Parts everywhere, no real organization to it at least from an outside perspective. Second I dropped off my car and indicated what I thought was the problem and he informed me that It'd be a few days before he looked at it. So far, all is well. About two days later he gives me a call telling me the price of all the work to be done and says the part is on it's way. This would normally be good but he never told anything other then he would look at it which was a $45 dollar diagnostic fee indicated by the sign in his office. When I told him the price was too high and I could not afford it and would just take my car back he said It would be 250 dollars to retrieve the car if I cancelled the order because he had already begun taking apart my engine. He never called me to tell me he was going to do anything other than the 45 dollar diagnostic. After going back in forth he reduced the price and I told him to proceed not wanting to make a big deal of it. He informed me that I would be getting a BRAND NEW turbocharger. A few days later I get a call saying my car is done. When I arrive to pick it up, I ask to see the previous Turbo and he brings me the cartridge. This means my turbo has only had a new cartridge placed in it while he reused the old turbine and exhaust housings. I inform him that this is not a NEW turbo and merely a replacement piece within it. He then changes his story saying It's basically new and he told me cartridge. He never even hinted at the fact that it would be the cartridge he was replacing. After further back and forth I ask for a part number for the cartridge he ordered and he refused to give it to me, claiming that he's not allowed to give a part number. At this point I ask for a receipt and he says it'll be "Extra" for a receipt. Doug (the owner) expected me to pay in CASH under the table to avoid taxes. At this point I want to get all the facts straight. I call Garrett (The original turbo manufacturer) who tells me that they no longer make new cartridges for my turbo. Yet again Doug has lied to me. I bring it up to him and he says "oh its a brand new re-manufactured part". This is NOT what I paid for and ABSOLUTELY not what we had agreed upon. Also proves why he wouldn't give me the part number. When I finally get my car back the boost is much later in the RPM range and now my clutch makes a rattling noise that arose minutes after leaving his shop. I will never go back to Boomerang auto ever again. Doug is dishonest and tries to pull fast ones on customers. He asked me "Why are you asking all these stupid questions?" Clearly he's used to customers who don't know much about cars and tells them what they want to hear. All in all, worst mechanic experience I've ever had hands down. Please, try to find a different mechanic if you want work done. Doug does not have the customers best interest in mind

very poor. He fixed the problem but another magically appeared when i got it back. He will tell you a price and then want more money for doing less work than you originally agreed on! Want a receipt? It will cost you! Go somewhere else

Got my AC fixed in time for summer. A bit more expensive than I expected, but worth it.

Worst experience with the mechanic I’ve ever had. This guy is so dishonest crooked. I would really advise you just stay away. Wouldn’t even know where to start of all the bad things. This guy does and made me experience so I will just leave a warning everything all the one stars Say are absolutely true just don’t fall for any of his lies and stay away
