Had a great experience with Bonfe’s recently when I went and got my oil changed/tires rotated. They have a shuttle service for people who live nearby, so I was able to save some money and skip the Uber to/from the shop. My wallet was a happy camper and so was I!

Absolutely great customer service. I came.in to get an estimate on my vehicle after a car accident. Had no idea what I was doing. Dan, the estimator fella, walked me through the beginning process smoothly and efficiently, and I feel confident in what I need to do moving forward. Definitely appreciate the customer service he offered and the reassurance that things were moving forward with my claim. I highly recommend BONFES and will definitely be letting people know how great and validating my experience was.

Honest and respectful staff, does quality work. Mid-range pricing, but you’ll never question if things were done right. They are always busy, so make your appointments well in advance! To their credit, on several occasions they have accommodated expedited service when pressed. I switched to Bonfe several years ago after another local garage told us not to bother fixing the used car we had just purchased. The owners at Bonfe helped us navigate the line between keeping an old car running and knowing the time to stop sinking $$$ into it. I sure appreciate them! (Also super convenient that they’re very close to the 54, 74, and 63 bus lines.)

I took my car in for collision and was initially told it would take about a week. Two weeks passed, then three, then four. I was told various excuses, such as them being down technicians, it being busy, correspondence with my insurance (barely brought up), and waiting for someone to calibrate my car. I really did my best to be patient and understanding. Things happen! I just did the math and I spent $482.89 on rideshare trips to and from work. I hadn’t rented a car, because I was told I believe three separate times would just be a few more days, just for it to never actually be a few more days. When I finally got the call that my car was ready, I requested a discount of ANY kind due to the process taking three weeks longer than quoted, just to have both Matt and Tony be extremely rude. I was told by Matt, “this isn’t just a car wash.” Yes, Matt, I am well aware this isn’t a car wash, as car washes don’t take an entire month and wildly inconvenience your day to day life. I was then transferred to Tony, the owner, who blamed it on my “discount insurance” (this had not been brought up to me at all during the last four weeks, and if I have “discount insurance” that takes longer than other insurers, why wouldn’t you have warned me it would be more than a week? He told me I could bring in cash or a cashier’s check to not pay the 2% card fee. Like $50 off is going to make any difference on the nightmare of an experience this has been. Also, I would have had to spend more money to take ANOTHER Uber to the bank. lol. Terrible customer service. I don’t recommend taking your car here. At this point, it’s not about the money, it’s about the principal. I also firmly believe had I not been a young woman, I would have been treated differently. (The work on my car was done perfectly. My issue is not the techs, it’s the customer service.)
