Blodget precision air-cooled

Took my 67 splitty bus down to have shifting issue looked at..not only did they take care of it but they did a full service. Im VERY pleased with everything they did and cant say enough about how positive my experience was. The bus runs better now than it has in years ( and i thought it ran great already ) Definitely if you have any work needing to be done to your VW take it there ! They were very honest and price was very fair. I would say that they were going to be my only go to from now on but i have left California and taken my Surfer Bus to a land locked state of Tennessee where it is Awesome and these folks are trippen out on my ride ! Thanks Blodgetts for your hard work ! Surfs up ( at least in Cali it is )

₩₩₩WARNING₩₩₩ Do not take your car here. By far one of the worst shops ever! They seem nice but very incompetent. I took my bug there and paid thousands for repairs i never got. They took months to do anything, and I was just happy to get it back. Had bug shipped out of state and didn't notice how bad of a job till months later. Mike comes across as a nice guy but in reality he's very bad at what he does. I should have paid attention when I walked into the shop. A complete filth of a shop. If he's that dirty, what do expect his work will be. I got swayed by his nice guy persona only to find out he's a complete fraud. I'm missing parts I paid for and at this point I'm just glad I got my bug back. Sorry mike but you did a real crappy job. I'm shocked if you still own the shop.

And a wonderful friendship that became thank you guys very much. Blodget's provided exceptional service. I am so glad to have found them. I am new to VW life and recently got a 1981 Westfalia Vanagon. Not only did Steve and his team provide a comprehensive tune up (the car had been sitting for years), they walked me through my van and took the time to explain everything to me. Steve was an excellent and responsive communicator. Their knowledge and expertise is obvious. They are kind, thoughtful and care about their customers. I will definitely keep coming back as I learn more about Westy life and all things vanagon. Fair pricing, good communication, and expertise!

Very honest people, saved me time and money when I thought problem was bigger than it was. Went out of their way to help me diagnos and fix my bug. Even did extra minor adjustments free of charge (nobody does that anymore). If you are a VW Bug owner I recommend going here they are awesome!
