I wouldn't let this guy work on a broken down wheelbarrow! I paid him twice to fix the same problem with my A/C. He still didn't fix the problem all the way my A/C still doesn't work properly. Then I went to get gas, and that afternoon my check engine mysteriously came on for no reason. I took it back to him, and he tried to con me into fixing a so called sensor problem when there was nothing wrong whatsoever! I was crazy enough to let him fix the wheel bearings on my front wheels. This morning when I went to take my car to the local tire shop to change a tire out, and do a front end alignment. They couldn't complete the job because they found my passenger side wheel bearing was still bad! I'm like, " Are you kidding me? I just had those fixed not to long ago!" I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone! Now I have to shell out another $255 dollars to fix what this guy messed up!

Beginning from the moment I called broken down on the road --- Opening when the tow truck delivered my "sick car" to the exhaustive work done by you to diagnose the problem, then digging until you found the parts at a reasonable cost and finally the excellant craftsmanship of the repair. I'm elated to say that your assistance to me did not end there, your kindness to work with me on the financial end goes beyond the expected role in business and I will never forget your cooperation. I will continue to recommend you to all in my world.... for the fine craftsmanship, fair business practices and genuine kindness which is a solid representation of Billy D's Auto. He seemed extremely polite and friendly. However, I was charged $60.00 for an oil change. The only “extra labor” was having to get my drain plug off because the head was stripped. It took him less than a minute to take off the plug. I provided the oil, the oil filter, and the replacement drain plug,and by “provided” I mean I went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the oil, filter and plug. After he took the money, he followed by saying “I don’t rip people off, like most places. Most places would charge $100 labor for what I just did.” I’ve called several places and have spoken with several mechanics who told me $60 was entirely to much and their rate was between $10-$15. He is not willing to negotiate anything to a fair price. Super rude when asked questions about his price. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be returning and I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

My girlfriend's water pump went out and I asked a mechanic friend of mine if he would do it. My friend told me he doesnt mess with the engine in my gf's car. So he referred Billy. I called Billy up and he gave me a price, told me to drop it off that day. He had the car return 2 days later, even drove it to my gf's work place to drop it off. Then found out her ball joints, tie rod ends and other suspension parts were bad days later. Called him up dropped the car back off on Thursday, had the car back on Friday by noon. He went above and beyond by even having an alignment done. Saving us time and effort. He is a stand up guy, does good work and stands behind us work. Anyone who says different is just mad because they think they are getting ripped off. $60 BUCKS for an oil change heck try $105 for my trucks oil change. Not by Billy but by a fast lube place in Spartanburg. So just think about that next time you get an oil change or the good fast work he does to help people out. My gf is a single mother of 2 and this car is her only means of transportation. He worked his butt off to get it done and charged what my mechanic friend that works at a mechanic shop here in Spartanburg said was a very fair price.

I've had my car there since march 28th. Its now May 9th for transmission. He first quoted me a few days. With new transmission and parts I've gave him 1,850.00. I picked the car up a week ago for it to be worse then when i took it to him. The odometer didnt work, all my dash lights was on, the air didnt work, i was leaking transmission fluid. I had. the car towed back the same day. Im so frustrated that i called Spartanburg magistrate Court and made an appointment to file a complaint Tuesday morning to serve papers on him. I wont recommend him to anyone.
