Barry's Ace Maintenance Introduce

Barry's Ace Maintenance, located at 5370 Dixie Hwy, Waterford Township, MI 48329, operates as an auto repair station providing general automotive maintenance and repair services to the local community. Situated on a main thoroughfare, it aims to be an accessible option for vehicle owners in Waterford Township and the surrounding areas seeking solutions for their car troubles.

The environment at Barry's Ace Maintenance, as with most auto repair facilities, would typically consist of a functional workshop area equipped for various vehicle services. This would include garage bays with lifts, standard automotive tools, and potentially diagnostic equipment necessary for identifying and addressing common car issues. While no specific details are provided about a customer waiting area or the overall aesthetics of the premises, the reviews offer contrasting views on the customer experience. One review praises "great service," implying a positive and professional interaction. Conversely, another review describes "poor communication" and a lack of calls, suggesting a less organized or attentive customer service environment at times. This indicates that the operational environment, particularly in terms of client interaction and communication, may vary, impacting the overall customer perception of the shop.

The services offered by Barry's Ace Maintenance fall under the broad category of general auto repair and maintenance. Based on the customer reviews, these services include:

  • Exhaust System Repair: One review specifically mentions an "exhaust leak" being addressed, indicating their capability to diagnose and repair issues with vehicle exhaust systems, including mufflers, pipes, and catalytic converters.
  • Wheel Alignment: An "alignment issues" problem was brought to the shop, suggesting they provide wheel alignment services, which are crucial for tire longevity, vehicle handling, and steering stability.
  • Oil Leak Repair: An "oil leak" was also mentioned as a problem, indicating their ability to diagnose and repair various types of engine and transmission oil leaks.
  • General Automotive Maintenance and Repair: As a standard auto repair station, Barry's Ace Maintenance would be expected to handle a range of other common services, such as routine oil changes, brake inspections and repairs, fluid checks and flushes, suspension work, and potentially basic engine diagnostics and repairs. The term "Maintenance" in their name reinforces their role in routine vehicle upkeep.

While the extent of their specialized services beyond these is not detailed, these examples suggest a capacity for addressing common mechanical problems arising from general wear and tear or minor accidents.

The features of Barry's Ace Maintenance, based on the provided customer feedback, present a mixed picture. On the positive side, one review highlights "Good price and great service," suggesting that the shop can offer competitive pricing combined with satisfactory repair work, and a track record of "always taken good care of my cars" for some customers. This indicates a potential for reliable and cost-effective solutions. The phone numbers, (248) 623-6690 and +1 248-623-6690, provide direct contact for inquiries. However, a highly critical review brings to light significant concerns, which are important to consider as features that may impact customer experience. These include "poor communication," with a reported need for daily calls to get updates, and a failure to receive promised calls. More critically, the review alleges severe post-repair issues, such as "loose lug nuts" on all wheels (even those not directly involved in the initial damage), and subsequent problems like a "ripped bushing, on my cv shaft, and leaking transmission fluid," and an alignment that was "worse now" than before the service. These reported issues, if accurate, point to potential inconsistencies in repair quality and thoroughness, as well as significant safety concerns (e.g., loose lug nuts). This disparity in customer experience means that while some customers may have positive outcomes, others might face substantial challenges regarding the quality of work and communication.

Regarding promotional information, no specific discount programs, seasonal offers, or loyalty programs are explicitly detailed for Barry's Ace Maintenance. For local auto repair shops, promotions often rely on word-of-mouth, competitive pricing, and building a consistent reputation for reliable service. The positive review mentioning "Good price" suggests that their pricing strategy might inherently act as a form of promotion, attracting customers seeking value. However, the heavily negative review, detailing multiple post-repair problems and poor communication, would undoubtedly counteract any positive promotional efforts. In the absence of formal advertisements, potential customers would primarily rely on online reviews or local recommendations. Therefore, the conflicting nature of the provided customer feedback means that any "promotional" appeal would be highly dependent on which reviews a potential customer encounters and prioritizes. Customers in Waterford Township are encouraged to contact Barry's Ace Maintenance directly via their phone numbers to inquire about specific services and pricing, and to consider the range of customer experiences available online before making a decision.

In conclusion, Barry's Ace Maintenance at 5370 Dixie Hwy, Waterford Township, MI 48329, functions as an auto repair station offering general automotive maintenance and repair services, including exhaust repair, alignment, and oil leak solutions. The environment, in terms of customer interaction, appears to be inconsistent based on contrasting reviews. While some customers praise their good prices and service, others report significant issues with communication, repair quality, and subsequent vehicle problems, including critical safety concerns. Explicit promotional information is not available, with customer testimonials acting as the primary form of feedback, albeit with starkly different perspectives. Prospective customers in the Waterford Township area seeking automotive services should carefully weigh these varied experiences when considering Barry's Ace Maintenance for their vehicle needs.

Barry's Ace Maintenance Customer Reviews

Good price and great service, they have always taken good care of my cars.

Apr 30, 2025 · pholcomb8899

Car had an exhaust leak, an alignment issues, and an oil leak, due to a front end accident. They had my car for about a week. They had poor communication, had to call everyday, because they would say it would be looked at and they would give me a call…. never got any calls. When I got my car back I drove it for a couple miles, just to realize every single one of my lug nuts were loose!!! including the back which had absolutely not damage to it. I have had constant problems since I got it back. Including a ripped bushing, on my cv shaft, and leaking transmission fluid. and not to mention my alignment is worse now, then when I gave them my car! I suggest finding somewhere else to go.

Great customer service In-N-Out within the day in most cases (depending on the work needed) and very reasonable on pricing. I definitely recommend this shop.

I have used Barry’s Ace Maintance for years through another company but now I’m taking my personal vehicles to him and I know he’ll do a great job. Give you a great price and he gets the work done.

They did my exhaust changing the muffler to make it sound louder , it ended up all rusting off a year later , when I first got it done that day they fixed my truck. There was already a leak and I had to take it back to them. Not worth your money no idea how this place has 4 stars.
