Barnbilt Speed and Fab Introduce
Barnbilt Speed and Fab, located at 215 11th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category. This business, accessible via phone at (828) 979-0911 or mobile at +1 828-979-0911, positions itself as a facility offering automotive services, likely encompassing speed modifications and fabrication work, alongside general auto repair.
Based on the provided customer reviews, there are significant concerns raised regarding the environment and customer experience at Barnbilt Speed and Fab. The reviews explicitly describe a highly negative perception of the business's management and operational practices. Phrases such as "shady business man," "horrible attitude," and "lies constantly about project progress and deadlines" are used to characterize the owner, Tyler Summers. The review also alleges that the owner "is paying to have reviews removed due to the amount of customers coming forward that he has done this to in the past," which, if true, would suggest an attempt to manipulate public perception and suppress negative feedback.
Further concerns are raised about the professionalism and security of the shop environment. The reviewer states that the owner "allows some guy named Brandon Barlow to hang around his shop all the time and touch & put his hands all over every one of his customers cars." This raises serious questions about unauthorized access to customer vehicles and the overall security protocols in place. The review ends with a stark warning: "DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT!!! THIS BUSINESS IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY A COMMON CRIMINAL." This strong language indicates a deeply unsatisfactory and potentially alarming customer experience. The environment, as depicted by these reviews, is one of alleged dishonesty, poor communication, and a lack of respect for customer property and trust.
While the name "Barnbilt Speed and Fab" suggests a focus on automotive performance enhancements, custom fabrication, and potentially general auto repair, the provided customer reviews do not offer specific details on the types of services or goods offered. The reviews primarily focus on the negative aspects of customer interaction and alleged business practices rather than the technical scope of work. Given the name, one would typically expect an establishment categorized as "Auto Repair Stations" with "Speed and Fab" in its title to offer:
Performance Upgrades: This could include engine tuning, exhaust system modifications, suspension enhancements, and aftermarket part installations aimed at improving vehicle speed and handling.
Custom Fabrication: This often involves welding, metal shaping, and creating custom components for vehicles, such as roll cages, custom exhaust manifolds, or specialized mounting brackets.
General Auto Repair: As an "Auto Repair Station," basic maintenance and repair services such as oil changes, brake service, diagnostics, and general mechanical repairs would also be expected.
Parts Sales: They may sell performance parts, custom fabricated components, or standard replacement auto parts to their customers, either as part of a service or directly for purchase.
However, without specific information from the business itself or other reliable sources, this remains an inference based on the business name and category, not confirmed by the provided reviews.
Based solely on the provided customer reviews, the features and characteristics of Barnbilt Speed and Fab, as perceived by at least one customer, are highly negative. Instead of highlighting positive attributes, the reviews point to significant deficiencies in business conduct and customer service. These include:
Alleged Dishonesty and Shady Business Practices: The owner is accused of being a "shady business man" who "lies constantly about project progress and deadlines" and attempts to "charge the people that own the cars in his shop more money."
Poor Communication: The complaint about constant lying regarding "project progress and deadlines" indicates a severe lack of transparent and reliable communication with customers.
Unprofessional Conduct: Descriptions like "horrible attitude" and "despicable individual" suggest a lack of professionalism and courtesy in customer interactions.
Concerns about Vehicle Security and Handling: The allegation that "random people" are allowed to "touch & put his hands all over every one of his customers cars" is a major red flag regarding the care and security of vehicles entrusted to the shop.
Alleged Review Manipulation: The claim that the owner "is paying to have reviews removed" suggests an attempt to suppress negative feedback and potentially mislead future customers, undermining trust in online reviews.
These points suggest a customer experience characterized by frustration, distrust, and a perception of unethical practices, which are critically important considerations for anyone seeking automotive services.
Given the nature of the provided reviews, there is no positive promotional information available for Barnbilt Speed and Fab. Instead, the existing customer feedback serves as a cautionary message to potential customers. The review explicitly states, "DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT!!!" This serves as a direct deterrent rather than a promotional incentive.
Normally, a business would highlight its expertise, special offers, customer satisfaction guarantees, or unique selling points as promotional content. However, in this case, the public record provided focuses entirely on alleged negative aspects of the business's operation and management. Any promotional efforts by the business would likely be in direct contradiction to the sentiments expressed in these severe reviews, and it would be challenging for a business to overcome such public allegations without significant and verifiable changes in their practices and customer relations.
In conclusion, Barnbilt Speed and Fab, located at 215 11th St NW, Hickory, NC, and operating as an "Auto Repair Station," presents a highly contentious online profile based on the provided customer reviews. These reviews depict serious concerns regarding the conduct of the owner, the transparency of business practices, and the handling of customer vehicles. While the business name suggests specialized services in speed modifications and fabrication, the available information from customer feedback raises significant warnings about the overall customer experience and reliability of the establishment. Prospective customers are strongly advised to consider these public reviews when making decisions about their vehicle repair and modification needs.

Barnbilt Speed and Fab Customer Reviews
**TYLER SUMMERS IS PAYING TO HAVE REVIEWS REMOVED DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF CUSTOMERS COMING FORWARD THAT HE HAS DONE THIS TO IN THE PAST. SEE ATTACHED PICTURES** TYLER SUMMERS, Owner, is a shady business man. All he talks about is ways to charge the people that own the cars in his shop more money. He constantly tries to make you as a customer feel pity for him. Hr has a horrible attitude, he lies constantly about project progress and deadlines. He is just a very despicable individual and it's sad there are people like him in this world that go out of their way to destroy something that so many people love. He allows some guy named Brandon Barlow to hang around his shop all the time and touch & put his hands all over every one of his customers cars. The Barlow guy may be mentally challenged I am unsure, but either way I do not want random people touching all over my vehicle that I have $$$ amount in. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT!!! THIS BUSINESS IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY A COMMON CRIMINAL
