Unfortunately I have to lower my score and update this review. I went in there a couple of months ago to have my car tuned up so I can get it smoged. I was quoted a price to do a complete Tune up and to replace the oxygen sensor. I was quoted $450 for everything. When I picked up my Explorer and paid the $370 for the work done. I was told that the oxygen sensor was good and did not need to be replaced and to drive it a little while then go get it smoged. Well 2 days later the check engine light came back on again saying the vehicle was running lean. Took it back to Azad Auto to be told that the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. Why did you not do this just a month ago I will never understand. You already had the car apart and had approval to do it. Instead you charged me $270 to do what should have been done before. That in my opinion is not the best business. On top of that he does not give receipts for the money paid. I'm sure IRS would be very interested to know that he does not document his income. I have had this car for 4 years and never had any oil leaks until the last time he worked on my car now it leaks oil like crazy. Maybe he just did good in the beginning to get my business. I am very disappointed with your change in professionalism. It appears that his shop is just a hang out spot for his friends who are there hanging around everyday. Maybe a visit from the IRS will help. I am new to this area so I need to find a new everything. My Air Conditioning went out in my Explorer so I called around to get prices to install a new A/C Compressor that I had previously purchased. I got bids over the phone of $350- $475 to replace the parts and recharge my unit. When I called Azad he would not give me a phone quote and asked me to bring it in. I live very close so I came right down, Azad looked at my car and within a couple of minutes, said that I DIDN'T NEED THE A/C COMPRESSOR. He said for $125 he would pressure check the system and probably find the leak, and recharge the system. I agreed and 2 days later brought my vehicle in. He called me less than an hour later telling me he found the leak and it definitely needs to be fixed. Taking a deep breath I said " How much"? He quickly responded $35. Now my total was $160, but would something else be wrong to raise the price? About an hour later he called me to say it was done so I came down and he was just cleaning things up. He explains that the problem was a simple small part, so my total stayed at $160. Now I came in late afternoon without an appointment and Azad was amazing. In 2 hours he had me out of there in LESS THAN HALF of what anyone else quoted. Now he could have put in my new compressor as I requested, but his honesty would not allow that. He could have made the bill much more, but he didn't. He willingly gave up at least $350 by not doing the compressor because AZAD IS HONEST. As I was leaving he made a point to tell me if I have ANY problems just come back and he will take care of it. Just when I thought the days of a GOOD HONEST MECHANIC was a thing of the past, I find AZAD AUTO. You Sir have just recieved a NEW CISTOMER. Thank You
