The mechanic at Avenue I inspected my car and told me the brake pads were bad and he failed the car (no grinding, no shimmy in the steering wheel). So I figured to be on the safe side it was time for new pads and rotors (keep them paired up). The mechanics who did the work asked me why the other guy failed the car, and when I told him it was for the brake pads, he said they were thicker than 2mm and working fine and pass easily. Avenue I cannot be trusted. Car inspection for them is a case of the foxes guarding the hen house. Stay clear.

The guys who work here are outstanding, friendly and kind. I was having trouble figuring out air pressure in my tires, and one of the guys helped me With it for free, refusing a tip. Highly recommend.

I took my car several times at here, they fixed the rear brake drums, AC, engine belts, and changed the engine oil twice, very good service.

Complete Rip off , horrible job fixing what was never broken. Never go there for inspection, guaranteed to create a problem
