I went in to get a battery for a forklift. I went online, and it said the store had it in stock. I took the old battery in with me. The guy asked if I needed help, I said I needed a BCI group 49 battery. He said, "What's that". I said it's the battery size. He looked confused, so I pointed to the numbers on the tags. He said they don't have it. Now the manager asked for what kind of car is it for. I said you can't look it up. I found the battery I needed, but then I seen the date sticker said it was already over a year old. The original guy implied take it or don't that's what we have. I was in a bind, I took it (I had to get this forklift running. It frustrates me that the parts people know so little about the parts they are trying to sell you.
