Rude and unprofessional, they had my car and did nothing but turn it on and off for a week. I told them the problem didn't come up until after it's been driven which even still I explained exactly what the issue was and they didn't look into it. As soon as I got home my ignition key was stuck, starting it up again it stalled just the same it was before. I don't understand how he think it's ok to talk to me the way he did and waste a week of my time

Our go to mechanic for the last 27 years. Dennis and Dave always treat us right. They’re very competent, fair in pricing, and recommend only necessary work. They also check out used cars for a small fee, a wonderful way to make sure we don’t buy a lemon.

Highly recommend these guys. They provide comprehensive and quality service for a reasonable price. I was referred to Automotive Specialist by a colleague at work. Called and spoke with Dave regarding an issue with one of our cars (wanted to get a second opinion). Dave spent 30 minutes on the phone diagnosing the problem and took the time to explain the engine functions and why the specific error may have been showing. We dropped our car off that night and Dave called me back the next day at 8:30am. He explained what he initially saw in the car, and said he would call me back after he was able to review further. As promised, Dave called back that afternoon and gave me a full summary of what he observed along with his recommendations on how to proceed. He was honest and told us what should be repaired, and what could wait. We will surely be coming back to Automotive Specialist in the future. These guys are truly honest and take the time to ensure the job is done right.
