Auto Obsession

I took a 2012 Jetta to Auto Obsessions LLC to get a quote in person because I bought the car with a very bad tint job. After explaining everything and the added amount of time it was going to take to remove and tint everything including front windshield. They gave me a verbal quote of $500. Also determined that I would get car back the next day, 2 day job. Dropped the car off evening before to discuss which shade of tint to go with. No one was there after predetermined time to drop off to discuss. Day of appointment- Get a message at 10:00a.m. from the owner that the price is going to be $750. A 50% increase in price. The job is now going to go into next. No apologies and insulted me that if $750 is too much then take somewhere else. If everything was explained at time of appointment including price and length of time to complete the job they would have done the job. Instead I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Excellent customer service, and very responsive. AO made it easy for me to get scheduled and worked with me to get my car dropped off and picked up at times that were convenient for me. The tint looks great, and I couldn’t be happier! This is the second vehicle I’ve trusted her with!

Lacks proper customer service and communication, will not honor quoted pricing. I will not recommend to anyone or use their services in the future. I'm not impressed with the 3 year coat put on my car at Auto Obsessions, compared to Car #2 coated elsewhere. The way the 2 ladies speak and interact with customers and other employees in front of customers is unacceptable. Not greeting customers as the owner when you're mere feet away is also unacceptable. I was given appointment dates and prices by Colin G. for two vehicles.starting with car #1 drop off April 11 for work on April 12, 2022 for 3 year coating, pick-up on April 13. April 12, I received a text saying with bad weather, would you prefer to pick up on Thur/Fri. I declined and said I would pick up on Wed as discussed. I went down @ closing to pick up on Wed, and it was not ready for pick-up. No problem. Just say you're running behind! Wrote the check for the quoted price and left. Pick-up on Thursday, the owner does not greet my wife and I. She is busy with the other lady employee in the parking lot, just feet away. The other employee greets me and asks how it looks. The lady employee comes in snapping to that employee to pull the vehicle out, no please or thank you. He said “he’s capable of pulling it out” and she snaps " She wants you to do it" The other employee sighs and pulls it out. I ask for instructions. The owner says do not wash it for 14 days, read the mirror hanger. She doesn't explain anything nor greet or thank us. When my wife leaves, I go to thank the owner. She didn't say much or say thanks. April 15 I have a missed call from Colin, asking how we like the work, he also has concern about car #2 quoted/scheduled by him for April 19. I called back on April 18, owner states that my quoted price for #2 is now $155 more. They installed the coat on #1 under MAP guess they don’t know their agreements. The husband quoting is not communicating with the owner/wife? I'm on the fence on the coating, and I let her know.She said do your research, she doesn't care what I chose. I decided to go ahead and tell her to do the coating and tint, but we never got to that point. I arrive to leave car #2, was greeted by the other employee. I proceeded to go back and talk to the employee. The lady employee comes over snapping questions at that employee. Again, not nicely. Then returns to the owner and then the owner is snapping questions to the employee over the loud music. It revolved around the car being worked on " auto auction junk" is how it was described. The owner arrived early and was not supposed to be there till 5. I head on over to talk to the owner. She is busy tinting a silver audi. I wait patiently, in no hurry. Then the lady employee starts snapping questions at me about what I want, do I need to speak to the owner. I said yes, I'm in no hurry. She snaps that I need to wait in the lobby. No problem, I can wait in the lobby. A short time later the lady comes in and snaps, " she is busy" " she is having a bad day" "you get to deal with me"! I politely say no, I have been talking to Colin and the owner. I will do business with them face 2 face. She huffs that it’s going to be a while. No problem. I understand she is tinting. I get a text that my quoted price on tint has increased by $85. Owner walks in, I ask who is texting me?. She said it's me. I replied what I was quoted for tinting. She doesn't care what I was quoted. It's her shop, she’s in charge, these are her prices. I ask why he is quoting me then. Her response, I'm not doing anything, you can leave. I say thank you/ have a nice day! She snaps over the radio, take it to Kenny @strictly. I get in and back my car out of the bay. No problem, two other shops took the work that evening. 100% professional. I didn't witness them snapping at employees/customers or employees snapping at each other. When I showed up, I was promptly greeted by the owners of both places. I recommend you avoid this shop.

My experience at auto obsession was awesome the looks of my SUV was outstanding.I was speechless at first it looked like a new vehicle.totally recommend there service to others for sure.
