I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Auto Electric Company. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, which initially seemed to go smoothly. However, a few days later, I noticed my car was leaking engine oil—something that had never been an issue prior to bringing it to Auto Electric Company. I promptly contacted them, and they agreed to take my vehicle back to assess the issue. I left the vehicle with them for the entire day. Despite this, I was never informed that my car was ready for pickup, nor was I given any explanation regarding the problem or its resolution. This lack of communication was concerning. Upon retrieving my car, I checked the engine oil level myself and discovered that the oil had been overfilled, with my vehicle advising me to remove some. To make matters worse, the car continues to leak oil, albeit at a slower rate. Upon investigating the issue myself, I found that their 'solution' was to install a larger, incompatible drain plug, which has now caused damage to my oil pan. As a result, I am now facing additional expenses, as I will need to replace the oil pan and install the correct drain plug. To add to the frustration, no one at Auto Electric Company ever contacted me regarding the status of my vehicle; I had to reach out myself. None of these issues were communicated to me, leaving me with unresolved problems and costly repairs.
