Aplus Auto House Customer Reviews

Has your car been due for a smog check? Or have you been riding dirty around town with expired tags? Get your life together and bring your car on over to Tony. Since September of 2016 (last year) my car wasn't able to pass smog and I was afraid of being bamboozled by a sneaky mechanic. So I prayed to the good Lord to help me find the right mechanic and as of three days ago my prayers were answered. Tony walked me through everything he was going to do, I'm talking 100% clarity and superb communication. When I left my car in his hands I knew exactly what he was going to do because again, he makes everything perfectly clear. Oh and he is honest too. Look, stop avoiding that check engine light. Tony will guide you through the entire process, and he'll give you a quote before he even begins the job. But if by then you're still skeptical you can take your car to be fixed somewhere else. So what do you've got to lose?

I think I finally found my mechanic. I first went here for a maintenance checkup. Tony is well spoken and explains everything. I came in again earlier this year to get another and help pinpoint an irritating non mechanical mysterious noise that happens when she is cold. He tells me my car, a Toyota, does not need one every single year. He could have done a Full Maintenance Check and I would not have been any wiser. But being honest, he told me no. So I got brakes done, oil and replaced something I can't remember. He is not cheap, but I feel comfortable driving my car. I am only bummed he could not find what noise was. Haha

I'm already peeved at having to get a smog check every two years when my car has never failed. I get grumpy when people won't answer my questions directly and when they try to bait me with coupon tricks. Tony answered my questions directly. He immediately quoted a price that was competitive without the coupon nonsense. He said if I brought the car in before 4:30 he'd finish that day. I was in and out in less than an hour. He was careful and he communicated well. He did not try to up sell me on anything. He wrote the service order for exactly what he quoted me on the phone. I'll definitely go back to Tony in two years; or if I ever need any other kind of work.

Very Detail oriented professionalized and personalized automotive related Services everything from alignments to oil changes or "My car makes a funny sound when I take a left turn?..." To "I don't know what's wrong but when I turn the key nothing happens" When is the last truly honest and ethical professionally trained auto shops! Tony"shop owner" NEVER Over the entire time I've gone there. Used any kind of scare tactics to sell you things. "Most every other shop I've been uses some kinds of verbal communication called a scare tactic too make it feel as if without ... impending failure will happen."

Surprised to see so many good ratings; however mine was not a good experience, not even close. He charged $125 for pretty much no doing anything helpful; basically repeating my car computer saying. On top of that, quoted me another price well above even the dealership. Stated my brake near replacement while others told me there are 9 mini meters remaining. I do not this this is an honest way to do business.
