Angel's Towing & Recovery LLC charged $875.00 to pull (with winch) my truck a few feet onto the road in Boone, NC. My son has the truck on a ski trip or otherwise, I could have driven back onto the road without Angel's Towing's help. I realize a need to make a profit, but $875 is ridiculous for the service provided. My son waited nearly 4 hrs. in below-freezing conditions, because Angel's Towing wouldn't send the tow truck until I sent them a photo ID. They already charged my credit card but insisted on a photo ID before driving to the scene. There was no damage to the vehicle because the truck merely slid off the road a few feet.
