AES Performance (Automotive Elite Specialties) Introduce

AES Performance, also known as Automotive Elite Specialties, is an auto repair establishment located at 415 W Willox Ln Unit A, Fort Collins, CO 80524, USA. The facility can be reached by phone at (970) 286-2852 or via mobile at +1 970-286-2852. As an "Auto Repair Station," AES Performance positions itself to offer services related to vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and performance enhancements. This introduction will objectively detail the observed environment, services, features, and any available promotional information based on provided customer reviews.

From the perspective of an "Auto Repair Station" within the platform category, a business like AES Performance is expected to provide comprehensive automotive services, including diagnostics, repairs, and potentially specialized work such as performance tuning. The business aims to serve local users seeking professional care for their vehicles, typically offering a range of services from routine maintenance to more complex technical interventions. The goods for sale would generally include parts necessary for repairs or performance upgrades, such as specialized engine components, sensors, or tuning modules.

Regarding the **environment** at AES Performance, based on the provided customer reviews, a significant disconnect appears to exist between customer expectations and the reality of service delivery. While physical environment details like cleanliness of the waiting area or organization of the garage are not explicitly mentioned, the extensive negative feedback paints a picture of an operational environment plagued by severe communication issues and prolonged service times. Customers report waiting for many months for services that should have taken a fraction of the time, suggesting a disorganized workflow or an inability to manage multiple projects effectively. The review describes "disgusting excuse after excuse" which points to a lack of transparency and professionalism in customer interactions, undermining any sense of a reliable and trustworthy environment.

The **services** that AES Performance advertises or attempts to provide, as per the customer reviews, involve specialized automotive work, particularly for high-performance vehicles like BMWs. The specific services requested by the customer included installing parts, a JB4 tuner, flex fuel sensor, and vehicle tuning. This indicates that AES Performance aims to cater to a niche market of car enthusiasts and owners seeking performance modifications and intricate electronic installations. However, the reviews strongly suggest that the promised services were not delivered to an acceptable standard, or in some cases, not at all. The customer explicitly states that after 8 months, the car was returned with "nothing wired," the ethanol sensor "not even hooked up," and the port injection wires "not landed on the jb4," despite assurances that "it's all good and tuned." This indicates a fundamental failure in the execution of the services the business claims to offer.

Analyzing the **features** of AES Performance based on the provided customer feedback reveals several concerning aspects.

  1. **Lack of Timely Service:** A dominant feature, or rather a critical flaw, is the extreme delay in service completion. An 8-month turnaround for a job estimated to take "2 weeks tops" is a glaring issue that severely impacts customer satisfaction and trust.
  2. **Incomplete or Substandard Work:** The reviews detail instances where paid-for services were not completed or were done incorrectly. Wires were left disconnected, sensors unhooked, and tuning supposedly done was non-existent. This points to a significant lack of technical competence or attention to detail in delivering on promised work.
  3. **Poor Communication and Deception:** Customers report "run around garbage" and "excuse after excuse" when inquiring about their vehicles. Furthermore, the owner allegedly admitted via text that work was not completed because the customer "wanted car back," despite charging for the work five months prior and initially claiming everything was "good and tuned." This suggests a pattern of misleading communication and a failure to be upfront about the status of repairs.
  4. **Financial Mismanagement and Disputes:** The demand for payment for work not yet completed, followed by disputes over refunds and even claims of additional money owed by the customer for incomplete or faulty work, highlights a highly problematic financial interaction. Customers felt "scammed and robbed" and incurred ongoing insurance costs for a vehicle they did not possess or could not use.
  5. **Customer Dissatisfaction and Negative Outcomes:** The ultimate feature, from a customer perspective, is the severe negative impact. Vehicles were returned in worse condition, requiring further intervention from other shops to fix the "mess." This level of dissatisfaction is a critical indicator of the business's operational quality.
In essence, the features described by customers are overwhelmingly negative, pointing to a business that struggles with basic tenets of professional service, including punctuality, quality of work, and honest communication.

Regarding **promotional information**, none is provided in the customer reviews, nor would it be prudent to infer any positive promotional efforts given the nature of the feedback. Based on the objective information available, any potential promotional claims of expertise, efficiency, or customer satisfaction would be directly contradicted by the experiences shared by these customers. Businesses in the auto repair sector typically highlight their certifications, experience, quick turnaround times, quality of parts, and customer service. However, the provided reviews for AES Performance directly undermine these common promotional points. It is not possible to provide objective promotional information based on the presented data, as the customer experiences reflect the antithesis of positive promotion.

In conclusion, AES Performance (Automotive Elite Specialties), located at 415 W Willox Ln Unit A, Fort Collins, CO 80524, USA, with contact numbers (970) 286-2852 and +1 970-286-2852, appears to be a car repair station that has generated significant negative feedback from customers. The reviews highlight severe issues with prolonged service times, incomplete or substandard work, poor communication, and concerning financial practices. While the business seemingly attempts to offer specialized performance-related services, the actual delivery has, according to these accounts, resulted in considerable customer dissatisfaction, leading to vehicles being returned in a state that requires further remediation at other facilities. Prospective customers are advised to consider these experiences carefully.

Where to begin....... Dropped my bmw off in August 2024. Wanted some parts installed and the jb4, flex fuel, sensor, and a tune. Seems easy enough. Wow.......fast forward 8 months later.....my bmw still isn't complete. I have a 8 month text thread that I'm not going to post bc it's absolutely disgusting excuse after excuse after excuse..... This was a 2 week job tops. I'd ask about my car every week and get some run around garbage. There's a a 3 minute YouTube video on installing the jb4 and flex stuff....they did t even land the wires!!!!!!! So how could it possibly be done.. Then I just wanted my bmw back so when I got it back.....nothing was tuned...the ethanol sensor not even hooked up. The port injection had 3 wires that needed to be landed on the jb4 and were not.. Then tell me it's all good.. I text him back when I got home bc the check engine light was on Tells me to go online after giving him over $4,000 DOLLARA SO MY CAR COMES BACK WITH NOTHING WIRED...TELLS US ITS ALL GOOD AND TUNED.. THEN ADMITS ON TEXT THAT HE NEVER HOOKED ANYTHING UP BC "I WANTED MY CAR BACK" YEAH I THINK ANYONE would want there car back after 8 months of paying insurance on a car I don't have . Made me pay for the work 5 months before I had my car done. That's insane....who gives someone , a mechanic money before the car is done. I had trust that they would do a good job THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FCKN CLUE WHAT THEYRE DOING STAY AWAY...STAY AWAY. I WAS SCAMMED AND ROBBED... TOLD ME HE'D REFUND ME AND THEN TOLD ME I OWE HIM MONEY 2 DAYS LATER. WHAT A JOKE. WHAT A DISGUSTING WAY TO TREATS PEOPLE WHO HAVE GIVEN YOU OVER $4,000 DOLLARS OF HARD EARNED MONEY! MY CAR IS WORSE OFF AND NOW NEEDS TO GO TO ANOTHER SHOP TO CLEAN UP THERE MESS. TELLS ME HE DIDNT PUT THE WIRES ON THE P.I. BC THEY HAD TO INSTALL THE JB4 THE FCKN PORT INJECTION WIRES INTO THE JB4. OMG! WOW...... STAY AWAY! A LEAST A REFUND AND I WOULDNT OF PUT UP THIS REVIEW...BUT WOW....WHAT A JOKE!

Horrible experience . Had our car for 8 months finally picked it up the other day and it is still not working . Check engine light came on as I was leaving the parking lot and the owner stated it’s the same code it had coming in here … well yea that is part of the reason we brought the car in to be fixed and tuned . I also asked him if it was tuned and he said yes but then went back and forth with my husband about how we can just fix it because he can’t get it to work and we rushed him picking up the car ?!? You had the car for 8 months charged us 4,000$$ for us to have a car that is not working . When we asked to be refunded some money not a full refund due to the inconvenience and the car not being tuned wires still hanging out not connected to anything !!! he pretty much said we should still owe him money !! We were very upfront about what we wanted done and we even paid him 6 months before the car was even done I never post reviews on business’ pages even with a bad experience but this experience has me floored!! There’s even more to this whole situation but I am very upset that the owner doesn’t see where we are coming from so what is the point . Oh yea he even said every other car he’s worked on has been fine but isn’t working on our car apparently. Huh !?

Italian cars are not for everyone, so I try to work with shops that show they are comfortable servicing the Ferrari based engine in the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio. Quick turnaround for new plugs, upgraded brake pads, oil change, etc. Tony and Tanner were very realistic about the work and thoughtful with my schedule for this 60k service. Thank you both!

Best Audi/VW shop in Fort Collins. Always quick, respectful and great prices. I’ve had them do everything on my GTI for the last 2 years from dsg services to fixing coolant leaks and every time these guys do it right.

I was a long time customer of J&M Precision Autos and was wondering who to call for my maintenance needs upon their retirement. I was told about AES in Fort Collins Co. Tony who owns and operates AES along with Dylan, great service ,great guys, great shop… I look forward to doing business with them again and again taking care of my BMW 330IS , Porsche Cayenne , and Audi A8…. Thanks Tony and Dylan …. Roger Lunsford
