I'm laid up with a shoulder injury and can only use one arm, otherwise I'd have changed the blade myself. My wife's car tore a wiper blade when it snagged on some ice, so I called up Advance and asked, if she brought the car (common car, Subaru Outback) in, could they help her change it. "Sure, no problem", I was told. She went there and they told her she'd have to "go to the dealership" for that. She then went to O'Reilly's where they looked up the blade, got the right one off the shelf and then went outside and helped/taught her in changing the wiper blades.

Refused to change battery because "it could take up to 45 minutes" took the car to Walmart not only got the battery for 70$ cheaper (same type of battery). Took Walmart like 10 minutes even with them jumping the car to move it. The workers at advanced auto would have gotten paid for their "up to 45 minutes" if they changed it.
