Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales Introduce

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales, located at 2000 Waynesburg Dr SE, Canton, OH 44707, is a significant entity in the heavy-duty truck parts and sales industry. This establishment operates under the general category of "Auto Repair Stations" in a broader sense, as it primarily provides the critical components and sometimes complete vehicles necessary for the repair, maintenance, and operation of commercial trucks and heavy equipment. They can be reached via phone at (330) 456-0206 or +1 330-456-0206.

Environment and Facilities

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales boasts a substantial physical footprint, indicating a large-scale operation designed to manage a vast inventory. Information available online suggests they meticulously organize their inventory over 180 acres of outdoor space and within 200,000 square feet of warehouse under roof. This extensive facility is positioned to allow for the storage and organization of a massive selection of medium and heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and related parts. The sheer size of their operation highlights their capacity to cater to a broad range of customer needs, from individual owner-operators to larger fleet management companies. The emphasis on organization is a key factor, as it suggests an effort to provide fast and efficient service by making parts readily accessible. This implies a professional and well-structured environment, geared towards handling industrial-scale transactions rather than a typical retail auto parts store for passenger vehicles.

Services and Goods Offered

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales primarily functions as a supplier of truck parts and heavy-duty equipment, serving both domestic and international markets. Their core offerings include:

  • New and Used Engines: They carry a wide selection of truck and equipment engines from major manufacturers such as Caterpillar, John Deere, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Isuzu, and Perkins. They source these engines from government liquidations, surplus stocks, and fleets.

  • Truck Parts: Adelman's offers an extensive inventory of truck parts for every major truck part brand. This includes, but is not limited to, transmissions, differentials, driveline components, electrical parts, and brake components. They aim to be a comprehensive source for heavy-duty truck component needs, including salvage truck parts, new parts, and government surplus.

  • Truck Sales: Beyond individual parts, Adelman's also sells complete commercial and heavy-duty trucks. Their inventory often includes a variety of trucks such as day cab tractors, dump trucks, tractor sleepers, mixer trucks, service trucks, and trailers. They focus on well-maintained fleet and government surplus trucks.

  • Equipment Salvage: This indicates their capability to acquire and dismantle trucks and equipment for reusable parts, contributing to their diverse inventory of used components.

  • Export Parts: Their reach extends beyond local markets, with capabilities to supply parts worldwide.

  • Knowledgeable Staff: They claim to employ experienced staff to assist customers in finding the right parts and answer questions throughout the buying process.

While categorized as an "Auto Repair Station" for the purpose of this request, it's crucial to understand that Adelman's primarily supplies the components for repair, rather than performing the repairs themselves. Their vast inventory positions them as a critical resource for independent mechanics, repair shops, and fleet owners who perform their own maintenance and repairs.

Features and Business Practices

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales highlights several features on their official platforms:

  • America's Largest Inventory: They market themselves as having the largest inventory of medium and heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and related parts in America. This scale is a significant advantage for customers seeking hard-to-find or specific components.

  • Organized Inventory: The emphasis on a meticulously organized outdoor acreage and warehouse space is intended to assure customers of fast and efficient service.

  • Quality Standards: For over 100 years, they state adherence to high standards of quality, aiming to provide parts that are "more than just serviceable, but that are good enough for your equipment."

  • 30-Day Warranty: Every used engine reportedly comes with a 30-day warranty on the block and crank, offering a limited assurance to buyers.

However, it is imperative to address the customer reviews provided. These reviews highlight significant concerns regarding product quality and customer service, which directly contradict some of the company's stated features. One customer claims to have purchased 24 Isuzu 6UZ1 engines, with 16 of them not turning despite assurances from the owner and his son. This review alleges dishonesty, refusal to refund, and disrespectful behavior, suggesting a severe breakdown in customer trust and product integrity. Another customer reports purchasing a Kubota V3800-CR-T engine that was supposedly "good running tested" but found it to have a "melted piston" upon installation, with no assistance provided after the fact. These accounts, if accurate, point to discrepancies between the advertised quality and the actual product delivered, as well as highly problematic customer service interactions. These customer experiences raise serious questions about the reliability of their parts, the truthfulness of their descriptions, and their post-sale support. The claims of "liars, cheaters, disrespectful" behavior from the owner and his son, alongside allegations of employees being pressured to "side with the boss," paint a concerning picture of internal culture and external dealings. The existence of a court case (Adelman Truck Parts Corp. v. Jones Transport, 2020) also suggests a history of disputes with customers regarding product conformity and acceptance.

Promotional Information

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales primarily promotes itself through its vast inventory and long-standing presence in the industry. Their website and business listings emphasize their extensive selection of new and used truck parts and complete heavy-duty vehicles, positioning themselves as a "one-stop shop" for commercial trucking needs. The mention of "America's largest inventory" is a significant promotional claim, aiming to attract customers seeking comprehensive solutions. The stated 30-day warranty on used engines is also a form of promotion, intended to instill confidence in buyers, though the provided reviews cast doubt on the practical application of such guarantees. Their marketing appears to focus on scale, availability, and historical presence rather than specific discount offers or loyalty programs.

Adelman's Truck Parts & Sales Customer Reviews

I bought 24 engines, Isuzu 6UZ1, must turn 360 degrees, thats what they told me. The owner and his son. I sent the money in full. When I went there to pickup these engines, I was surprised because 16 of them are not turning, so I asked to take just the 8 engines that turn and refund the money for the other 16 engines. They told me to get out from our place or we will call the police also, they said to send a truck to pickup these engines, you have 1 month or we will take the engines and the money. This is the first time I met bad people like this. Never buy from these guys or make any deals with them. I mean just the owner Carol and his son Jordan, they are liars , cheaters , disrespectful, and they do wrong to get money , the employees are good but they will get fired if they don’t side with the boss (Carol and Jordan, the son) the employees tried to help me and they don’t support what their boss is doing, along with his son. I saw that in their faces. After I got kicked out, I called people to help me, and to protect me from these cheaters, they called them and talked with them, and told them about how this is not the right way to sell engines like that, after hearing this, Carol promised to adjust the engines so they would turn, and they said they fixed the problem, so when I sent my truck to pickup the engine, so I can take it to Adelman’s in Chicago (his eldest son’s place), they lied, they did not even try to fix the engines, that what we got when these engines arrived in Chicago. Adelman’s trucks parts.in Chicago IL is different friendly and honest people why because Aaron controls this place 100 percent

I bought a Kubota V3800-CR-T engine from this company. It was supposed to be a good running tested engine. When we installed it it had awful blowby. We found a melted piston. So far nobody has helped me out at all. Let the buyer beware.

Purchased a Perkins Engine. Motor came complete with everything. It was at a great price and worth the drive. Bill took care of us with excellent customer service. They test ran the motor to show us oil pressure and condition. Highly recommend them.
