Adamson's Towing

I called AAA to have my car towed from Chevron to Adamson,s Tire and Automotive. I told them it would take me 10 minutes to get there. They said it would be between 8:35-9:35. Before I got to my car I saw Adamson’s tow truck drive past me around the corner from Chevron. I never got a call that he was there. My husband was busy when I left. He started coming and saw the tow truck driver park on Grand and walk into a residence . I called Adamson’s Towing and let them know I was there and saw the truck drive by. She said they have many trucks and it was probably on another job. We waited the hour I call AAA and Adamson’s towing. AAA said he would be there in 9-11 minutes. I waited then called Adamson’s Towing and relayed the message from AAA. She hung up on me. I saw the tow truck pass Chevron, come back and pull in, then pull out and turn around and back in. He never asked for an ID. He never had me sign anything. It took 1 and a half hours. He was rude and would not talk to me. He didn’t ask for an ID or have me sign anything when he was finished.

Max performed a miracle today. A young woman landed her car atop a rock barrier outside our townhome; we all thought the front end was going to be crushed getting it down but Max’s ingenuity, experience and patience got the car down with only minimal scratches. She drove away! Top notch service and entertainment! 👍👍

I would give them zero stars if I had the option!! At this very moment, I am in my car waiting 2 hours, when they said 45 minutes, for gas, in Ojai!! No text with a time line. AAA’s only option! Not good service Adamson’s! Ojai needs another option. Oh they just called (finally) a said they had 20 calls before me…So why didn’t let me know??? And 20 calls in Ojai??? Really? Ugh!!!

Super rude. Waited 2 hours for a new battery, they showed up without a battery. Then when I called the office the lady proceeded to hang up on me. Really poor. Strongly advise you to call Bob Carlsons Towing, or anyone other than these folks unless you like having your time wasted.
