My 2015 BMW x5 35d needed a new front differential and other repairs were suggested by BMW of El Cajon for over $8000 in repairs. Because this car is a Diesel it was very hard to find a mechanic willing to work on it. Adam imports and Car specialist gave me a fair quote on a second hand part and installation and the work was completed within their stated 3 day time period along with replacing a few other connected parts to the differential. It has since been over a month since the repair and it runs and drives like a dream. Highly recommend their work.

$600+ for a “Tune up” which did not include checking and testing ignition coils… to which they missed a bad coil which equals a misfire. I guess I’m a little old school in thinking that it should be a standard check for a tune up… ya know “plugs, wires cap and rotor… even though this car doesn’t have any of those, it still has the coils that need testing. Found out that they had not done a proper test by simply getting up to speed on the freeway around 2,500 rpm it started misfiring. I asked:” did you get it up to freeway speeds?” “Oh yeah, of course, we go one exit up and the. We get off” Not a proper test. You barely even touch the gas going down hill to get into an exit lane to get right back off from their shops location. Called and spoke to 3 different eruo/german auto shops. I Told them the demos of my car and each one said that they would pull the plugs, test them and test the coils “because these cars have been known to have coils to go out and cause misfires” Huh… again. He defends his position that he “test drove the car” I don’t believe that he got the car up and going properly, because if he had, he would have discovered the misfire and notified me immediately instead of having to come back and deal with more time and money out of my pocket. I came in off the street trusting that they would do a good job. I’d say they did an “OK “ job. Not necessarily above and beyond doing due diligence to be thorough… just an “OK” job. If I were you I’d ask a lot of questions before and during their work. Don’t be like me and blindly trust that they will do a thorough job. And for the work/expense ratio…. It’s definitely bloated. $375 for probably an hour of labor. $169 for coil packs when high end plugs and coil packs are 170-200$ elsewhere. Next time I’m going to save all of this headache and do it myself.

I am really pleased with everything. Finally, I have a mechanic I can always return to. I'd want to thank Milad for being honest, trustworthy, and simple to deal with. He knows vehicles better than anyone else. He found the problem right away and helped me understand what was going on. I took my Audi S5 to have extensive repairs and maintenance done. I am really satisfied. He is a genius. The staff was really polite and clear. Unlike other auto repair shops, he does not try to take advantage of you. He is the real deal.
