I own an early 2000’s Honda AWD with a lot of miles and I needed some advice along with work done on my transmission / filter / hoses. Let me tell you, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a transmission/mechanic shop from the jump. Chris is very knowledgeable was very kind to me, patient with me, and helpful. He gave me the rundown of all my different options & prices without trying to sell me to death and let me know if it was worth spending my money on. I really appreciate that kind of honesty. For the first time in a while, I do not feel like I was taken advantage of or given some astronomical price like I was from basically every other shop that I’ve called (especially corporate shops!!) This is a hometown business, ran by honest, hard-working individuals, and they will forever have my business. Give Chris a call if you are having transmission troubles! please don’t waste your time elsewhere. Wow! True master mechanics…a full service integrated garage for the longevity of our vehicles!!! They are gear head warriors that not only take on the larger more complex diagnostics and repairs that require a mastery skill level of technicians but they seek to build trust and have clients return for years to come rather than quick easy fixes. They have serviced 5 of our vehicles over 20 years…So grateful to see shops like this still exist!

I made an appointment a week in advance with the agreement they would confirm the day before. I did not hear from them so l called. The man who answered The phone said he was out on a test drive and would call me back. This was at noon time. At 5 PM I tried calling back, and the line was busy the rest of the day. Never did hear from them that day or the next day. Lost a whole week and now I have to make an appointment somewhere else.

I've been taking my cars here to Chris for a few years now. Three different cars. I travel from Andover to go here because I know I can trust him and the price is always reasonable. He always takes the time to diagnose even the weirdest things is friendly and always manages to get things done when they are over booked. My cars have always been fixed correctly the first time.
