I can't believe how this person is in business, will say anything to deny warranty repair of the transmission. First off it took 3x of breaking down again for it to finally drive, then began to make a noise that he said came from the drive shaft. Then he said it was the axle, then the differential. All the time waiting for the warranty to expire. He refuses to repair the noisy transmission so I had to have it repaired at another facility also during warranty period which he said he would cover. Then after the repair, he claims the warranty is void because another shop repaired it. Now I must report to the bureau of automotive repair, other agencies, and ultimately take him to court if he won't pay me for the repairs that should have happened in the first place.

Great service on rebuilding my Mazda 3 transmission in March 2023 by Carlos! The transmission was making a whining sound in 2nd and 3rd gear and Carlos verified that the sound was coming from the transmission. His rebuild price was less expensive than buying a pre-owned transmission to be installed. After he started the rebuild he discovered it needed a new housing due to an embedded bearing which was causing some of the problem. He finished the rebuild close to one week and he showed me the old housing and the bearing, He kept in contact with me during this time to explain what was going on. Highly recommend Carlos for transmission repairs/rebuilds! The car has been running great since.

The OWNER Carlos of AC TRANSMISSION charged my company $3,500 to rebuild my transmission in my Company truck, As diagnosed by him. I PAID HIM $3,500 DROVE IT, AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED. CARLOS said he decided to install a SHIFT KIT INSTEAD OF REBUILDING IT AS AGREED. Now CARLOS & AC Transmission wants an additional $1,500 for a total of $5000 and quoted 6 WEEKS or more to rebuild it. Carlos and his employees are not capable of repairing and understanding the scope of work needed to repair the transmission. *** WE LOST ALL FAITH IN CARLOS AND HIS EMPLOYEES !!! I asked him to give us our vehicle back. CARLOS AND AC TRANSMISSION REFUSED TO RETURN MY TRUCK TO ME, AND BECAME AGGRESSIVE, ABUSIVE IN LANGUAGE AND A FIGHTING ATTITUDE, RESULTING IN CALLING THE POLICE TO CALM HIM DOWN. CARLOS IS NOW ASKING FOR A CASH PAYMENT OF $3,500 AND WILL RETURN IT IN THE SAME BROKEN CONDITION. AC TRANSMISSION has now taken procession of our truck until his demands are met. It's been 10 days now. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU !!

Carlos is a great mechanic that treats customers fairly. He explains the problems to you and isn't afraid of showing them on the car. People don't understand that old cars fail in more than one part most of the time. Even problems that seem to not exist will suffer when something else is brand new and running well. This guy knows what he is doing.
