I called 3 AAMCO shops and did not like the way they explained things to me regarding transmission repairs and costs. I finally got a mgr, Armando, on the line at the Losee Rd located in N. Las Vegas. I was so blessed to get a person who had the patience to explain everything to me. Because he was so knowledgeable, patient and respectful I gave him the authorization to rebuilt my transmission. His receptionist, Princess, was also a blessing to work with. I am sure these 2 people will make your business very successful because they know how to treat people.

I took my car in and informed them that I just wanted 2 transmission pressure switches changed out. I then get an upsell call from Armando attempting to get another 800.00 out of me to tear my transmission apart and diagnose the internal parts. He admitted the pressure switch fault codes, and is aware that faulty switches can cause the transmission to run hot. I'm not sure why they wouldn't just replace the faulty switches as requested, And insisted on the update of internal diagnostic. Beware of the up sale techniques at this particular aamco location on losee and cheyenne, I paid 120.00 unnecessarily for the same result I got for free at auto zone. All I wanted was the 2 switches replaced, however I took my car back immediately before any other shady ness could take place and put me out another 3-4 k. Smh Armando, please, allow customers to request specific repairs, and if you have the ability to complete the repairs, leave the upsell out of the equation, and the customer to be wrong if the requested repair doesn't solve the issue.

Please read this! AAMCO (Losse) transmission service is the best service I could have ever prayed for. After terrible previous experiences with other shops including Centennial Toyota. AAMCO answered all my prayers. The job they did with rebuilding my Lexus transmission could only have compared to that of a Cadillac after it was completed. Armando, the manager, Cynthia at the front desk and Ruben the technician gave the most honest, empathetic, and professional customer service that I've experienced since I have been here in Las Vegas. Caution!!! This company owes me over $4k since my warranty paid and so did I. It has been 5 months since I first left my car with them and I have yet to see my money. I am hearing nothing back from attempts to resolve this even tho I emailed the owner that responded to my review. If he were alarmed by this in any way he would have issued my refund long before now. It’s been over a week since posting.

Princess was very attentive always making sure to ask questions before giving a response. Armando was very knowledgeable. The only reason why it was not a five star review was because there phone line made it hard to understand what they were saying. Overall, great service and the car is running smoothly. Thank you everyone at AAMCO pleasure doing business and I will be back.
