I was in need of a tow, so my insurance company called on this company to help me. I was at work at the time. I was told that it would be 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. No problem! But then 15 minutes later, I got a text saying that my driver was on his way. I’m about 25 minutes away from the location. So I called and confirmed with the dispatcher that yes, my driver was indeed on his way and was very close to my car. I told her I could be there in 25 minutes; she said that the truck couldn’t wait for me and he would go do another tow and come after. So I rush over to my car to be there when the tow truck comes. And then I wait. Well TWO HOURS go by so I decided to give them another call. The dispatcher informed me that my driver was at an accident tow and that it was going to be another hour. I explained my situation and told her that I was taking time off work to get this done, she said that there was nothing she could do. I got a bit heated at this point unfortunately and tried to explain again (only louder) what had happened. She then matched my energy and started talking to me super slow, like I’m a toddler. She then told me that the insurance company sends those texts out and they’re not accurate. I tried to explain again that they had confirmed that the driver was, in fact, on his way and she said that she didn’t know who I talked to but it wasn’t anyone there (it was, I called the exact same number both times). I thanked her for her time and hung up, but on second thought, I wanted to give them one more chance to redeem themselves. I called back and asked for a supervisor and she said that he was on a tow in Green Valley. If you want a tow, this is not the company to call. The dispatcher messed up scheduling TWICE, offered no apology, no resolution, basically called me a liar, AND you won’t be able to talk to anyone if something goes wrong. Needless to say that I called my insurance and canceled services with this place of business and was able to get towed by a competent company.

One of their tow truck drivers nearly crushed the car in front of me by turning left from the wrong lane. When I rolled up next to him at the next light, he was very clearly messaging or otherwise typing into a cell phone. I gestured at him to hang up the phone and he dropped the phone and then yelled at me “Where’s the phone?” Maybe he would have been in the correct left turn lane had he not been driving while using his cell phone.

Driver was a total pos that means you Brian, decided to bring wrong equipment to tow my diesel truck and about destroyed my truck, didn’t want to strap it down properly, when I asked him to strap it down properly he decided to bad mouth me and said he knows better than me and said he didn’t want to because he didn’t feel like it, when I told Brian I wanted my truck strapped down properly he decided to cuss me out and say he’s refusing to tow my truck and unstrapped it while it was still up in the air and almost caused it to fall off the truck , brians boss was also a pos he hung up on me when I called him to report Brian, don’t go with this pos company.

NEGATIVE STARS! A & L ILLEGALLY towed & TOTALED CAR AFTER we REFUSED THE TOW!!! The "safe storage lot" is a sketchy unsecured scrap yard. This company was ordered to tow car to my HOME ONE STREET AWAY!!! Tow driver refused & lied telling us "You don't have a choice." Because of his spazzy behavior & refusal to take car to our home as ordered, we refused the tow! He kept saying "it's ok don't worry about it. I'm in a hurry because I'm so late. I'm supposed to be off 2 hrs ago." He dragged our front wheel drive car backwards WHILE IN PARK! He stripped the brand new tires, trashed the transmission, ripped open the radiator & front grill, AND he broke the right axel & tire COMPLETELY OFF. He also dented rear bumper shoving it from behind (IN PARK) with the tow truck into their lot! He did NOT take any care with my car & it was in brand new condition! A & L treated it like literal garbage! I REFUSED TOW 4 TIMES. 2 days later when we wnt to rescue the car we were speachless at the NEW damage they had done while in their possession. WHY? WHY DID THEY DO THIS TO ME? A&L attempted to keep our car saying my address didn't exist & we had to pay their tow & storage fees even though I verified with Agero they had been PREPAID. Absolute Liars. My insurance ordered A&L to tow to MY home, & the address has existed since the 1980's. They tried to hold my car hostage for $160?! Seriously? Collision Center states over $10,000 in damages done while in A&L POSSESSION. NEVER USE A & L Predatory tow co. Heck No I DO NOT RECOMMEND! 👎 👎👎👎

Sal picked up my car for a tow. He arrived on time and also kept me informed about when he would arrive. That's very important when your car isn't working. He was very friendly too.
