SLT AUTO REPAIR

It's about time I post this review. If I could rate six stars, I would. My 1992 Lexus ES300 was in the care of Tony and Simon for several months last year. I dropped it off with the assumption that it had a blown head gasket and just needed new heads, but it actually ended up needing an entirely new engine and transmission once they opened everything up and saw how bad it was (every crevice of the engine was gummed up). I sourced both a replacement engine and transmission and had them rebuild and install it for me, along with a few other minor things that needed attention. Tony and Simon are absolute professionals with a level of patience and kindness I have almost never seen before in mechanics. They are not salesmen; they are actual mechanics with total integrity and pride in their work. They never hustled me for money, they never rushed me, they never tried to upsell or charge me more for anything, and they kept my car parked inside the whole time. They actually gave me an amazing deal on the labor, and they never even asked me to post this review. My car has been running like a dream, and it's still under their warranty so I can rest assured it'll be fine. I ended up moving down to SoCal, but I kind of wish I hadn't so I could come back here.

Tony and Simon are very talented and are honest with their pricing. They charged me 900 less than my mechanic whom I've been going to for years. I appreciate their honesty and service. I will be a customer for life.

I got a tow hitch installed on my Toyota Highlander. Simon and Tony were courteous, professional and very friendly. They did some really solid work. Pricing was transparent and service was very quick. I appreciated how easy it was to get a hold of them and schedule the appointment only with a 24 hr notice. Highly recommend!

Simply the best service option anywhere in the Bay Area. Tony is wonderful, honest, and efficient. SLT was able to do an oil change, check my alignment, and perform a full inspection determining that I should get new brake pads (which I suspected but forgot to tell them!). They quickly called me, explained the situation, exact cost, and asked for authorization to do a same day purchase of genuine Toyota parts from their supplier. By some miracle they were able to procure the parts the same day and finish the entire job with brake flush in a few hours. On top of all that the total came out half of what I've seen other independent shops charge (let alone what dealerships charge). Don't go anywhere else, SLT is the only honest and reliable option!

Have been here twice for oil change. Price is very reasonable and the best part is, if you wait here and it just takes ~20min for the oil change. The owner Tony also worked at dealership as certified technician. Instead of wait $$$ money and time at dealership, I would strongly recommend come here for your Toyota/Lexus service and repair.
