Had my car towed there from braking down on the internet in Jan 2025. As the shop was diagnosing the problem the shops employee blew up my manifold and fuel injection and radiator hose and caught my car on fire. The owner John, took me outside to let me know about my car and proceeded to tell me that my EGR valve under the manifold faulted and caused the manifold to catch fire and blow my manifold and other issues. John told me that my fuel pump also went out and that it will be $697.09 to fix my car and that's parts and labor added. He turns and walks away leaving me standing g at the car. So I comminced to take pictures of what happened. Then a week later he (John) called me and infor.ed me that the injector and hose needed replacing and that it'll be another $150 added to the bill. I then immediately told him that why do I have to pay for something his employee done.? He then said that the EGR valve is what happened to make it blow up. After 2 second opinions, I'm learning that the EGR valve is definitely not located under my manifold, intact and the on my car the EGR is located on the right side of the manifold near the steering box.
